We are honeymooning in Cancun, Mexico at an all inlusive resort. I'm not sure if I should wear my wedding and engagement ring or leave it at home. I'm a little nervous to have it in Mexico or to lose it in the water. Am I over reacting or has anyone else thought of this too? Any thoughts bees???

P.S. Future Brother in Law will be at our house puppy sitting for the week so it's not like it would be left home in an empty house.

The only time I take my rings are off, are when I'm showering, in the pool, or go to the beach.

We are looking at all inclusive resorts, if we go there -- my jewelry will be in a safe when I'm doing water activities. It will be on my finger when I'm not.

I've waited a LOOOONG time to wear these bad boys, I'm going to wear them every chance I get :)

I think I'll wear the band and leave the e-ring locked up at home. It's more about not wanting to attract vendors (or limit my bargaining chances) abroad.

I have read stories of hotel safes being accessed by staff (on Tripadvisor).

FI is strongly opposed to me taking it with.  I have a plain sterling silver band I wear when we travel.

I only wore my wedding band on our honeymoon.  I didn't want to risk losing it in the Cayman Islands!

I've heard horror stories of other girls losing their rings at the beach or (gasp!) have them stolen while on vacation. Though I love her, my e-ring is going to be at home, safe on our honeymoon. My wedding band on the other hand will be coming along for the ride...

I'm going to be wearing mine... my ering has already been snorkeling and diving at the great barrier reef, and the crashing waves at the beaches of surfers paradise so im not too worried about it at a nice calm beach.

We are going to an all-inclusive between Cancun and Playa Del Carmen.... I am leaving my e-ring at home and wearing the band only.  Since we'll be swimming a lot, and I won't want to wear it in the water, I am not comforatable being in a foreign place where I'll be leaving my ring in the room a lot when I am not there (taking it on and off, as well, increases the chance of it getting lost too).

I plan to leave mine at home (if we go on a vaca after the wedding). With the risk of theft and attracting negative attention in a foreign place, I wouldn't risk it, but it's a personal choice.

We bought 2 bands, one to be soldered to the e-ring and a wider, plain band without diamonds to wear alone for chores and when I don't want to attract attention.

I'm wearing mine. I never take my ring off. I've worn it swimming and all sorts of places. If it fits properly there really shouldn't be a risk of it falling off. And I'm not at all concerned about being robbed because of my ring, that could happen anywhere including where I live.
