I’m about an inch taller than my husband.  It all worked out in wedding pictures.  I wore flats.  The shoes he wore with his tux made him taller!

I’m about the same height as my FI if not a tiny bit taller. Just having a tiny judge wedding.

So we don’t have all of our pics yet, but I’m about 3″ taller. We made it seem like less for the wedding because I wore flats and his dress shoes had some lift. I didn’t want to look like a giant.

DH is 5’5 i am 5’8. DH wore shoes that were built up on the inside so made him a bit taller, i wore flats. He didnt want me to be oo much taller in our photos but i wasnt concerned at all.

We’re about the same height if we’re absolutely barefoot which is pretty much only inside our own home. If either of us are wearing shoes one becomes taller than the other. For the wedding, I wore flats that had a slight little wedge and they did make me visibly about an inch taller than him at the wedding. I noticed (I always notice) but it didn’t bother me or look bad and it wasn’t obvious in any pictures other than the ones where we were facing each other at the altar. I’ll be honest and admit that my love for stilettos has cooled since we got married because I don’t care for appearing much taller than him. Before we lived together (and I mostly went out alone) I wore 3-4inchers almost daily.

I am slightly taller than my DH. For the wedding I had originally bought flats but I loved these boots that I found. DH told me to buy them because I loved them and he doesn’t care. He loves that I’m tall…even calls me his Amazon. When I wear really tall heels he says it puts him at the right level. 😉

lorakath:  You know, it IS kind of a “thing” that men are “supposed” to be taller, I wonder why that is? When seeing ChocolateLime:‘s photo I don’t even think, “Oh, look at that shorter guy” at all. I think, “What a beeeeautiful picture!” Truly! (someday I’ll have to find those chocolate limes and try one! lol)

RedHeadKel:  It’s all about the ‘man protecting his woman’ type of stuff….way sexist IMO and it’s time people got over it.

My ex flipped out over me wearing heels AFTER we got married! Seriously?!?! I was taller than you when I met you…not like I grew all of a sudden! Sheesh…get over it.

He never did…I call it SMS (Short Man Syndrome)

I’m about two inches taller. I plan on wearing flats and using some clever angles for pictures. It doesn’t bother me at all that SO is shorter, but he hates it. He is super self conscious about it. :/

We’re about the same height. I bought some lifts from Amazon for him and they look great! Our wedding is next weekend and I’m not nervous about my heels because of the lifts. They’re about 2″and look very natural. He’s wearing them with dress boots. PM me if you’re considering that and I’ll send you a link to the ones I got!

I’m 4″ taller than FI.  I wear heels all the time and will be wearing heels on our wedding day.  This is one thing that really pisses me off, that there is still this notion that women must be shorter than their man for some reason.  Whenever the man is taller than the woman no one says “OMG!  He looks like such a giant in the photos!”

I am taller than him, have always been taller than him, and will always be taller than him.  Not sure why we should have to get him some Tom Cruise heels or use camera tricks to lessen the height difference or else people will think I am the Jolly Green Giant or something.
