I can’t wait to wear my veil.  I think that there is no real “common” thing anymore.  Some brides wear them, some wear nothing, some wear flowers, some wear birdcage, and some in hats.  It is all about what really fits your personality.  That is one of the great things about getting married in modern days, there is no real single way of doing things.

I bought a cathedral veil that I cannot wait to wear!!! My boss gave me her fingertip length veil though just in case I change my mind 🙂 I love a bird cage veil but I wanted a more traditional look for the ceremony. I wanted to wear the bird cage for the reception but Fiance vetoed that haha.

I am wearing once but only because I get to be the “Bride” once. And I always imagined I would do it in a veil.

I see TONS of pics where the women don’t and it looks just fine too, I can still tell that they’re the Bride.

I wasn’t going to wear one but the more I thought about it the more I thought I wanted to look more bridal so I got one that doesn’t go over my face just hooks to the back of my hair… it’s a beautiful cathedral length veil! It all depends on the look you want and the way you feel… It’s about 50/50 with veils now short, long, headbands or hair flowers… try a few different things on and see what matches your personailty your day and your dress.

Nowadays not that many people wear veils, especially younger generations and more “modern” times..I wasn’t planning on wearing one but my grandmother asked me to because it a tradition and classic. I don’t mind tho..there are some really beautiful ones out there.

i wore one, and i would wear it again – i loved my veil. Its just so bridal to me and i really feel like it completes the look.

but everyone is different and i’ve seen alot of brides rock the hair flowers or combs rather than a veil and it looks just as beautiful

I wore a birdcage veil and a hair flower for the ceremony, but only the hair flower at the reception!

I am. It’s the part of my outfit that most makes me feel like a bride. 🙂

I will be wearing a veil but I haven’t purchased it yet.  I love this double layer silk tulle fingertip length veil I tried on.  My mom is crazy for the traditional tulle cathedral length veil.

No veil for me!  Just a sparkly headband and my hair will be down.  It’s more me.  I’ve never wanted to wear a veil, even when I was little.

I’m wearing a birdcage veil with a feather flower fascinator. I think I want to wear it for the wedding and reception since it turned out so well. The supplies cost less than 20 bucks so I am super happy about it.

not wearing one!  I don’t like what they symbolize.
