@FutureMrsT1221:  Functional under the dress. I will want a shower after that long day and I can change then (unless I’d rather go to sleep…we’ll see :P).

Functional. Would love to have worn cute, but the dress has some strict requirements (like a sheer back) making function the only option! 🙂

@FutureMrsT1221:  I got changed into a going away dress at the end of the reception (because we left on our honeymoon the next day, and I didn’t want my mother collecting it from the honeymoon suite the next morning!), and then at the hotel had a very quick wash and change of lingerie (like you it was our first time). You definitely want to wear functional lingerie during the wedding – it’s a long day.

@FutureMrsT1221:  I don’t really have a clue yet on what I wanna do just yet underneath my dress (still have some time to decide). Your furutre husband will still need to unzip/un tie the back of your dress and if you can’t wear anything cute/sexy underneath, make sure to pack something to take with you the night of your wedding. Once you are untied/unzipped, you can go to the bathroom and put on what you wanna wear. Some dresses don’t allow to put anything sexy underneath because of how tight they may be so it will depend what your dress looks like and how much room there is once alterations are complete.

Functional – I’m getting married in August in the south! Indoors, but still. I’m probably just going to wear some plain cotton panties, I’m going braless. I’ll be in it for so long, and dancing and sweating, that we will probably both have a shower when it is all over!

I went with functional! I needed Spanx to avoid the dreaded chub rub, and went without a bra because of the way my dress was tailored. Even if I’d been wearing something super cute, I got so hot and sweaty dancing in my dress, I desperately needed a shower after changing out of it. Then after the shower, cute lingerie time!

My bra will be functional and my panties will be cute… so a mix of both (:

Functional! Don’t be upset if your wedding night doesn’t turn out how you envision it. I suspect I will be exhausted, sweaty, with caked on make up and hair that feels like a birds nest. Oh yeah and we’re sleeping in an airport that night sooo there’s that, haha. Functional all the way.. and then yoga pants after that. Hubba hubba!

@FutureMrsT1221:  Functional for the ceremony and pictures. However, when we bustled my dress after pictures. I took off the spanx and put on the cute underwear. That way the awkward lines spanx leaves on your skin would be gone by the time your  new husband takes off your dress. 😉

@FutureMrsT1221:  I’m attempting to where some cute but functional undies (I seriously hate the word panties sorry)– but I’m bringing a few extra, soley functional pairs in case the ones i’m planning on wearing don’t do the trick 🙂

I’m wearing nothing on top- so that’s that!!

We are both very functional people to begin with- I will definitely want a shower, and who knows if we’ll even do the deed after SUCH a long day!  LOL

I wore Spanx.  That dress was too clingy to wear something cute!  Anyway, that’s what the honeymoon is for…

I definitely went functional. But we’ve lived together for 3 years. And my husband just sees lingerie as something else he has to deal with to get to me. So it wasn’t an issue for us!

Both? I wore my comfiest pair, which happens to be a pair of hanky pankies so they’re lacey and cute anyway!
