No mine divorced after being married for 27 years. My Dad remarried a year later and my mom is still single and still in love with my Dad. They have been divorced for 10 years.
Yep, they started dating in 1978 and got married in 1984. :)
FH's parents divorced about 15 years ago and FH's dad still loved his mom until he passed away about 4 years ago. I think his mom still loves his dad, too.
Yup. Both mine and my fiances are going strong. 25 years for my folks and I think over 30 for his. I'd say the majority of people I know have divorced parent's however here in Wales, so glad our parents show us it can work!
Technically, but they are very much seperated. My mother filed for divorce 15 years ago and it's still not final. My mom has been with her boyfriend for 10+ years and I consider him to be my father.
FI's parents divorced around the same time my parents seperated. His mom remarried when FI was 12. He doesn't have a relationship with his biological father.
My parents have been married for 34 years in July, and Mr. E's parents have been married for 31 or 32 years

my parents got divorced when i was about 9 (i'm 26 now), Neither parent has remarried though, my dad does have a long time gf. FI's parents are still married. this December it will be 40 years.
im actually suprised to hear so many long marriages! makes me happy - i feel like all my friends parents are divorced - hell even my sister is divorced.
but my parents have been married for 38 years this year and my husbands parents will hit 30 years in auguat! gives me hope! not that i have any doubts we couldnt make it either..but you know what i mean.
Both my parents and FI's parents will be celebrating 30 years together next year!
My parents got divorced a couple of years ago and my husband's parents were never technically married although they live together (it's a more complicated situation).
My parents just celebrated their 54th anniversary this last week! They had actually never even gone on a date before marrying. They had gone on a double date but both were with someone else and then my dad went in the service and they wrote letters to each other for years and when he returned my mom broke up with her boyfriend and married my dad! They now have 6 kids, 17 grandkids and 8 great grandkids!
My parents and his parents have both been divorced since we were very young....his mother is remarried and has been with his step dad for 20 years now.

My grandparents were divorced before I was born, my grandmother remarried and has been for 20+ years!
My mum and dad were very young when i was born so he was never around....but she married my dad(he adopted me!) when i was 6 and they are still together :) FI's parents are not together but his dad(basically only dad he has known) whom his mum married when he was very young they are together.
My dads parents and my mums parents are both still together.
Well, I chose other because my parents were never married to each other or to anyone else either... and they broke up before I was born because my father was basically being a douche & saying that I wasn't his child. I'm not close with him, but he has at least attempted to be in my life. He hasn't been perfect, but he's tried, I will say.
FI's parents have been married for over 30 years though. :o)

Both our parents are still married. Mine for over 30 years and his for over 50! Yeah, have I mentioned before he is a little older than I am? :)
i'm surprised by the results of the poll! my parents & FI's parents are still married, but none of my friends' parents are married still.
My parents divorced after 13 years (I was 11). My FI's parents were together I think 52 years when his dad died.
My parents have been married for 38 years this year. They have never dated anyone else. We even have pictures of them together when they are 14! My husband's parents are divorced and both remarried. I honestly can't believe they were ever together, their personalities are so different. Thank goodness they were, I'd never have my husband otherwise!
My parents have been married for 32 years, 4 kids, 3 grandkids :) My SO's parents were never married, he's never met his dad and was in foster care off and on from the time he was 5. But my whole family has taken him in as their own, so the first time in his life, he has a big, crazy family... I love it, I think he does but sometimes it overwhelms him lol :P
I chose other because my parents were married for 19 years but my father got into a bad accident and was left brain injured. I know my mother still loves him to this day but he isn't all there and they had to get divorced for legal reasons. My FH's parents are still married I believe 27 yrs or so!
My parents have been married 40 years this August (since my mom was 21 years old and my dad was 22) and his parents are still married after twenty-something years.
my dad passed away last year. They were married for 24 years. If he was still alive they would still be very married. FI's parents are divorced though and his mother remarried.
My parents divorced after 20 years, my dad remarried and he and my stepmother are celebrating their 17th anniversary today. DH's parents have been married for 40 years, and have known each other their whole lives. There's a picture of my toddler FIL pushing my baby MIL in a stroller. So cute.

Mom and Dad are going strong at 30 years. His bio-dad was an abusive dirtbag, and his mom and step/adoptive/real dad got divorced recently (mom's choice, and a variety of factors.)
My parents were never married, and broke up shortly after my conception.
FI's parents divorced after his sister (the baby) turned 18 and went off to college, so almost 10 years ago. FFIL remarried but it didn't last past the honeymoon.

I picked other; both mine and SO's parents are divorced. My parents divorced officially last year after 27 years but it was over long before then. Only SO's father has remarried, I think his mom still loves his dad. It's really sad :-/
You don't have an option for divorced but not remarried.

My parents are still married and have been married for almost 39 years. FI's parents were married for 42 years until his mom passed away last year.
Mr.TKE's parents have been married about 27 years. My parents have been divorced since I was less than 1 year old (about 25 years). My father remarried. My mom (who raised my sister and I) is 51, single, and fabulous (and going to Israel next Jan)!
