I did not get drunk all day. In fact, I think I was the only sober person by the end of the night. I was honestly so exhausted from several days in a row of not sleeping, so I was in a daze all day, it probably would have been impossible to get drunk in that state.

I was so  busy hanging out and seeing everyone that I didn't have time to get drunk, I only visited the bar once!

I will have a few drinks over the course of the night I'm sure, but I do not want to be drunk by the end of the night.

I'm sure the night will be enough of a blur without the help of alcohol.

Okay, so I don't know if I even count anymore since we're not having alcohol at the reception, but even when we were, I wasn't going to drink anything at all because my cheeks turn bright red and I look wasted after a few sips of wine.

I’m much friendlier if I have a nice buzz on so I fully intend to drink at my wedding. I won’t let myself get shit-faced since I would prefer to remember everything but mimosas will more than likely be my best friend that day.

I think another poll option of "slightly buzzed" would be good. I drank a few drinks, but wouldn't say I was drunk! :)

I was planning on getting a nice buzz, but by the time we got to the reception all I wanted to drink was water!!

It didn't help that my dress was tight, and I ate a LOT, so it was kind of uncomfortable to drink.

I had one glass of champagne at the reception.  I love champagne, but after the outdoor ceremony I was so hot that all I really wanted was gallons of cold water.

I don't want to be smashed, but I want to feel good.  So, a good buzz will be in order.

@missmichigan: I drank plenty the night before at the rehearsal dinner. On the day of the wedding, I had a hangover cured by saltines and Sprite. After the ceremony, I drank some champagne and Mike's Hard Lemonade. During the reception, I had just a bit of wine. After that, it was all Sprite for me. I like drinking at other people's weddings, but my own I didn't.

I don't want to miss my reception because I'm in the bathroom puking all night (Bridezillas anyone?)I plan on drinking, but not that much in a short amount of time. Maybe a glass of wine or two before the ceremony and wine through out the night.

No. I dont drink a lot in the first place but I barely had 1 drink at our reception. I was too busy trying to visit with everyone.

I plan on getting a nice buzz on that's for sure. We're going to be at an all-inclusive resort so after our private reception I'm sure everyone is going to head to one of the many FREE bars around our resort. I have a feeling there will be multiple generations of family consuming large amounts of alcohol! lol.

I was happy buzzed. I had a decent amount but I can handle my alcohol though.

i'm a freaking lightweight so i know i'll probably be buzzed. like PP said though, it makes me a lot friendlier so it'll be a necessity!

I don't intend to get drunk no, I actually want to remember my wedding. FI has been warned he can't get drunk either because lol he needs to get me out of my dress by the end of the night, don't plan on sleeping in that thing

I didn't get drunk, but I did drink a ton of champagne (I did make sure I ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner - plus I scarfed a roll right before the ceremony).  I was tipsy by the very end of the night, but that was at like 2am.  It was perfect :)

I got a great buzz on but kept it under control.  Not smashed by any means.  It was so much fun.

I think I had two glases of champagne all night - after the reception though I had a couple Martini's when everyone went out.

I didn't really have time to drink much!  My MOH gave me a glass of beer and I think that was the only thing I had all nite.  Too much dancing and visiting going on:)  Now my MOH, she did get drunk, but I wasn't there at the end to see how bad she was, but my other MOH had to take care of here and make sure she made it back to the hotel!!

I'll be pretty nervous the day of, I plan on at least 1 glass of wine before the ceremony & I'll get a good buzz going for the reception for sure. Honestly, I loosen up & have more fun when I've got some alcohol in me..... Plus, if I didn't drink for the reception, I would literally be the only one Laughing

I am a lightweight as well and drinking makes me sleepy so I def. wont be getting drunk... I will probably have one drink if that.... But after the reception, we are getting a jucuzzi suite so I will  probably have a few drinks then...
