We are meeting with a florist for the first time tomorrow. I, admittedly, know nothing at all about flowers. Would anyone give me any insight into their first florist meeting? Any questions I should be asking?

I basically went in with a couple pictures of stuff I liked. I told the florist what the general feel I was going for was, what color flowers I wanted and then asked what was cheap and in season. Done and done.
I know nothing about flowers either and I wasnt really picky about them.

I didn’t have any pictures of anything I wanted, because I had no clue. It was easier for me to tell the florist what I did not want (anything yellow or orange) & certain flowers I did like (peonies & ranunculus) & have him show me bouquets he’s done. Any florist worth her/his salt will be able to show you examples & steer you in the right direction as far as coordinating w/ your wedding colors, etc.
