@elivt: I just went to Aria Boston last week! They were great and the price can’t be beat. However if you are considering them I would go soon. They will be selling their dresses in bridal shops soon, therfore the bridal dress prices have gone up but right now they are still honoring their old prices. I just ordered dress style 107 in cotton (white). The white cotton is also being discontinued and will only be available for a few more weeks! The dress costs $180!! I was so pleased b/c I was going to go with J.Crew for $900, but the Aria dress is comparible. For a dress I am wearing for 5 hours I just couldn’t justify spending that much money (yes, I am one of those people) and now I won’t mind buying an extra outfit/reception dress. Plus I love the fact that I am getting a natural fiber dress.

They had all of their dresses available to try on but I did have to try one on in light blue so I just had to imagine it in white…Also, I am a size 6/8 and all of the dresses either fit or had to be clipped back. They also had the dresses in a variety of the fabrics that they offer.

I would highly recommend Aria, especially if you are a laid back bride looking for a simple dress. This is not the place for anyone looking for over the top or super formal gown.

Good Luck!!

Here is the dress. It was a B.M. sample so just imagine it in white, not light blue! I also think I might do a white sash with flower but haven’t made a final decision on that yet. This is the 107… I ordered an 8P (due to my short torso). In J.Crew I was a size 6 bridal but in most bridal shops I was an 8 or 10, just to give you an idea of their sizing.

I did the mail order thing a couple times since I’m a ways away from the Pasadena store.  It was pretty hassle free, the only problem is that you have to get the dress back to them in pretty short order.  But, I understand that they don’t want girls hanging onto their samples for longer than a couple of days.  I loved so many of their designs and really wanted to go with one of them, but I couldn’t settle on one, and then found a dress that knocked my socks off elsewhere.  I still pine for a couple of their designs, though.
