A sandwich/panini maker
A tea set
Picnic basket filled with goodies for a Saturday in the Park
What about a picnic basket with napkins, platic plates, flatware, and a couple of wine glasses? You could add more as you could afford (i.e. wine, the blanket to sit on, etc.)
Have they registered anywhere in particular with an inexpensive gift you can use as a jumping off point?
I've done a pizza set... bought a pizza plate they couple registered for and a box of chef boyardee pizza and a pizza slicer
Other ideas... game night! Get a fun boardgame (maybe Life or Battle of the Sexes could be appropriate but I also love apples to apples hehe) and a box of microwave popcorn and a pack of Jones soda.
For a recent wedding my sisters and I found a really nice sushi serving set and got a bottle of sake (it came to $30 total!) but this is only good if they like sushi lol
Or you could do something from Uncommon Goods! I love their quirky gifts... like this http://www.uncommongoods.com/item/item.jsp?source=family&itemId=14811 its a duo sandwich and soup (or toast and cereal) serving plate and bowl.
Or do something like a soup cookbook, with some cute soup bowls and/or ingridients. We did this for my cousin's shower and she got some really cool and creative things!

My boyfriend's sister is getting married in July. We've been invited to a couple's shower next week and the theme is "Around the Clock" Our time is lunch time/1:00 pm
Any ideas? We're on a really tight budget seeing that he and I are still in college. But we still want something unique and nice.
