@twinday:  I am scheduled to visit Artesano on Saturday!  I also wish I had a better handle on the catering costs, but I was told they do not have “packages,” so each wedding menu is unique and a different price.  To give you some idea, if you look on their website, at the sample seated dinner (http://artesanoironworks.com/artesanogallery/menu1.html), I was told this was $158/person, and that included everything (tables, chairs, parking, etc) except alcohol (they are BYO).  When are you visiting?  We should compare notes 🙂

@twinday:  Hey there.  Hope you are feeling better!!  Have you had a chance to reschedule your appointment at Artesano?  The space was beatiful, but unfortunately it did not work out for us.  Since they do not have set menu packages, I was very clear about our budget for venue and food to the person I spoke with over the phone (Dawn).  She assured me that was a budget they could work with, but when I met with Ivan for my tour he said it was “not possible” to have a wedding there for my specified budget.  As you can imagine, that was very frustrating/disappointing!  Nonetheless, it is definitely a unique space worth looking at if you are willing to pay the high (in my view) tarrif.  Good luck with your venue hunt!

@twinday:  I too love(d) Artesano but the price tag is just too high (pp doesn’t include alcohol, wtf?) What other venues are you looking at?
