We are going to have the same problem and I was told that Aruba is the best place to go in hurrican season! Two of my best friends went to Aruba for their honeymoon and loved it!! I am not sure where the one stayed, but the other stayed at the Occidental and they said it was the best place!! They were catered to 24/7, they even got upgraded to an awesome suite!
We are looking into Aruba and I just can't wait to start planning!! Have fun:)
we are definitely looking into aruba!! we're a sept wedding as well and it looks liike aruba is our only choice... maybe curacao and hawaii as a last resort!
Aruba is stunning..tip: don't stay at the Holiday Inn.

Since we're getting married Labor Day weekend, we're smack in the middle of hurricane season & the more research I do, the more it looks like Aruba's the safest bet. We thought about a mini-moon and then going away later, but that's really not going to happen.
I've heard great things about Aruba and terrible things. The sunsets are awesome but you also have to wait in line at 7am for a beach umbrella?
Has anyone gone before? Where did you stay/wish you'd stayed? Where should we stay away from etc?
