@karengoblue: I am interested in the responses to this post too! I am considering Aruba, St. Lucia, St Maartin, Antigue….i could lay on the beach all day and read but my fiance would need some activities!! i want a place that is relaxing but also has many excursions to choose from!

If you are looking for an all inclusive, Virgin Islands might be tough as there aren’t many and the ones that are I think are pretty expensive. My friend went to DR and didn’t like it, but I had another friend who went there for a honeymoon and really liked it, so I would probably check out reviews for places there.

We are going on a cruise. We will be able to chill out on the ship but stop at many places and either do activities like snorkeling or horseback riding and then there are also beaches to relax at too.

There are nice beaches everywhere, but probably where you would like to go will depend on the activities that the two of you want to do. Think about those activities and then see what islands in the Caribbean are good for that.

@karengoblue: We are heading to Aruba for our honeymoon and staying at the Divi our friends parents having been going there for 5 years and stay there everytime they love it. They also have this honeymoon card that they give you when you check in that gives you discounts on a ton of excursions. I have heard from many people that the Kukoo Kunuku bus tour is awesome too they take you out to dinner at a restaurant and then to like 3 bars. I have also heard the Tatoo booze cruise is good too.

We just went to DR in March and it was ok we had a good time but am glad we didn’t go there on honeymoon. You really can’t leave resort area where as in Aruba you can leave resort and adventure out and not have to worry as it is safe. Hope this helps.
