Aww! Sadly I can't relate yet because I've got so long to go! Sounds like a good kind of emotional, though!
Yup, everday it gets closer I seem to get a bit more teary eyed about things. I am going to be an emotional wreck on the day of!
Not only teary eyed, but also giddy at times. This morning I went from laughing out loud to near tears in about 2.2 seconds with no rhyme or reason! (Then again hormonal cycle may be as much to blame as impending nuptuals!)
Haha. I seem to be all over the place like doctorgirl. I do get weepy when I see wedding things - but I also get crazy excited. And I get butterflies in my stomach when i think, "WOW. My wedding day is only 36 days away!!!"
I got an email from our officiant this morning to set up our meeting/rehearsal. I read all the bee recaps. My FI came up behind me this morning and said "28 days."
I get all choked up and teary-eyed at EVERYTHING nowadays. :)
My wedding's not for 11 months and I STILL find myself crying at Weddingbee posts, weddings on TV, weddings in movies, real life weddings, sappy commercials...you get the idea. I think there's just a whole lotta emotion going on during this process. It's good to cry, it's cathartic and lets you relax a bit afterwards...
Totally! Today on the subway my ipod was on random and all of a sudden it started to play "our song"...next thing you know I'm standing there with my eyes welling up with tears and a smile on my face. I'm sure people thought I was "off my meds" or something!!
Mine is a little over a year away and I heard our song the other day in the car. My eyes started to water already. If I'm like this now I can't imagine what I'll be like with only 50 days to go!! Better yet - I can;t imagine what I'll be like on my wedding day! Oh boy - someone get the tissues.
I hear ya. I'm crying at EVERYTHING. I couldn't watch Michael Jackson's memorial, because I knew I'd be a blubbering mess. I am going to be a serious mess on wedding day.
I'm so glad I'm not the only one! My bridal shower is tomorrow and I just know I am going to shed some happy tears.
I think this is totally normal. I found myself getting super sentimental or even giddy with excitement leading up to my wedding. I think your emotions are right on the surface because of all the excitment.
I hope your shower tomorrow is wonderful! :)

The more emotional I seem to get! This happen to anyone else? I'm sitting here in my office trying not to cry as I am reading the recaps of some of the bee's and I'm realizing, "wow, in 50 days that is going to be me! I am going to be a Mrs. I am going to have some wonderful (hopefully!) memories of my wedding to share with everyone". Last night I was checking things off my to do list (which is still really long btw, but that is a whole other post!) and I was getting teary-eyed. I heard the first song we danced to on the radio this morning and the tears came rolling out.
I'm not the only one out there crying over the little (but awesomely good!) things that remind me we are getting married in 7 weeks?
