Hi Beautiful Bees!!!!
I just wanted to show the Flanders Classic solitaire I just recieved today. I am a ring size 4.25 and I have a 2ct Flanders in 14kt white gold. I will post new photos when I can get a hold of my good camera.. For now… its iphone4 quality haha. I ordered September 25th and recived it 2 weeks later. It’s a beautiful cut. The setting is high enough to accidentally poke someone so if you chose this setting just be careful– especially with the children. 🙂
My hubby and and I are all about being blood diamond concious. We’ll always ask companies if they are conflict free– many places will tell you that they are but surely enough I don’t trust only words…… So! Asha and Moissanites are my favorite substitute. I believe a flanders cut has 98 or 91 facets…(somewhere around the 90s haha) more than a brilliant round which has around 58? (someone correct me). I compare this to a cushion and a square radiant.. but honestly you can see the differences in all three… Flanders has 8 sides to it since the corners are cut–oh! and the setting is sort of knife-edge like yes?
I hope you consider Asha and Moissanites 🙂
If you have questions.. I’ll try my best to answer them. I’ve been researching all these cuts for a few months now haha.. Husand is glad I finally made up my mind.
I wish you all luck in all you’re looking for. XOXO
