Here are pics of asha and moissy respectively (I just picked the prettiest pics):

From what I’ve read, asha looks more like a diamond because moissy looks more “sparkly.” The green tint of moissy, on my understanding, depends on the cut. Both asha and moissy are very fine for rings, but I’m leaning toward the classy look of asha.

Both Asha and Moissy have their pros and cons. It’s really personal preference what will work best for you. 🙂

– Whiteness (It comes in D, F and H I believe.)
– Asha is an excellent diamond simulant. It’s cut just like a diamond and imitates a diamond’s sparkle and overall look pretty much perfectly.
– Less expensive.

– Less durable. May not hold up well with daily wear over many years. That said, even diamonds can chip.
– Some people have said it looks glassy/plastically/fake (Many happy Asha owners would disagree though).

– Very durable.
– Cost effective (although not as inexpensive as Asha)
– Twice as sparkly as a diamond.

– is not DEF colorless. An enhanced round or cushion moissy is around H color. Other shapes (especially fancy cuts) can show more body color.
– While it looks pretty much just like a diamond, it’s not as perfect a simulant as Asha is. Moissanite is cut differently than diamond (since it has different optical properties). Also moissanite sparkles more than a diamond does.

I have an enhanced moissanite and I’ am extremely happy with it. 🙂

Here are a couple of videos:
Before it was set, inside, beside a window.
Set, out in the sun.
