I was born in Southeast Asia too. Your ring is really gorgeous, OP! 🙂

Here’s mine even though it’s been posted to death on WB. Wink Canadian diamonds.

@OrchidsandCandles:  Gorgeous ring! And have you had people tell you Indians weren’t Asians? Silly people – it’s clearly part of the continent!

@sparkletiger:  Thank you! Laughing

@KatyYoung:  Lol well it might be a one-side conversation in Tagalog because I can still read and understand it but speaking and responding back is really hard. I think I need to go back and take a refresher course. Possibly in Boracay hahaha. Btw I love the detailing on your ring setting. Is the centre stone a cushion or a princess cut?

@Cynderbug:  Phftt I don’t get tired of seeing it – it’s beautiful!

@margarissa:  Yours is so pretty and sparkly!

I feel like this is an odd request, considering race is irrelevant….

At any rate, I am in the process of custom designing my best friend’s engagement ring & she is Southern Indian.

She will have a twisted melee shank engagement ring with a 6.5mm RB Amora Gem, similar to this Victor Canera masterpiece.

@BlondeMissMolly:  She won’t be engaged for at least another year (after she graduates with her bachelors degree in June), so we haven’t gotten that far. But we have been working on the setting, since that is her biggest concern.

I’ll find a way to get her an AG, regardless of timing 🙂
