I used Design Visage in Newport Beach (they also travel on location). Lauren was my HMUA and while she's not asian, she did a great job with me and my mom! Sorry the pic isn't clearer, I don't have any of our pro pics yet.

Check out Kelly Zhang. I just did my trial with her studio and I loved it.
Lin Breller, of Joyce Luck Studio, did our makeup. She lives in OC, so it'll be an easy commute for her. She's great, as is her team -- very professional, prompt, and easy going. The Joyce Luck Studio folks are fairly pricey though.
A less expensive option I looked at was Angelina T: angelina.makeup@gmail.com. I saw her work on my photographer Leigh Miller's blog, and it looked pretty decent.
I used Ammi Hsu of Beauty Creator and she was sooo detailed! One of my eye brows doesn't crease exactly the same as the other one. Ammi literally put this piece of sticky stuff on my one eye lid to fix it and make sure it was the same as the other one! Ammi actually is the teacher of the beauty school so you know she must be good. She also uses what she says is movie makeup. My wedding was 108 degrees and my makeup didn't budge all day! It was totally amazing! The other makeup artist I have used before for my engagement shoot is Fu Yi. She's great too!

I'm looking for someone to do my hair and make up. I'm Chinese, so I want to find a Asian hair and make up person. Does anyone has any recommendation. I would like the person to come onsite to the wedding ceremony location in Santa Ana. I tried looking for people at the photo studio at Temple City, but most don't want to travel that far. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
