Jayypeeee ~ I have a makeup trial in 2 weeks (in Santa Barbara); while I'm not sure that she specializes in Asian makeup, I will let you know how it goes if you are interested. My wedding is in 2 months, in Santa Barbara, and I need to finalize my wedding day makeup person soon. If this one doesn't work out I've got a couple others lined up, so hopefully between us we can find someone good

i'm Asian & from LA, and i'm getting married in Santa Barbara (quasi-destination). i am having the most difficult time trying to find 1. makeup artist who can do Asian makeup.. i.e. monolid issues, AND 2. who will travel to SB or is based out of SB/ventura. i've decided that the easiest way is to find someone based out of SB or Ventura. i've already tried the SB makeup artists who are highly recommended on other forums, and they didn't cut it...! i've considered DIY or asking a friend to do it, and i'd rather just hire a professional. anybody know of any up & comers, or anyone who is not on the forum radar? sorry for the long post...
