@bellaluna290:  I did! I did some fun bridesmaid boxes!

Painted box outlined with a map of where the wedding/rehearsal is going to be.

With all my goodies…Ring pop, champagne, Hershey’s hugs and kisses, a sweet letter, and either a candle or champagne bubble bath.

I was able to deliver 5/7 in person, but for the two that I did end up having to mail, I wrapped them up in cute brown paper with fun address tags.

I have another thread with more details, but they were so fun to make (although, in retrospect, REALLY time consuming and also kinda expensive, haha).

I love those cute bridesmaid cards! I think your girls are absolutely going to love them!

I sent a cute, homemade card.  The front has a dress hot glued to it (the skirt was made of tulle) w/ a white flower at the wasit.  It said “Will you be my bridesmaid?”  and was on heavier, metallic paper.  I wrote a little personalized note on the back.  I wanted to do a “goodie box” but I really didn’t want anyone to feel obligated to say yes because I was bribing them (3 of my 4 girls are from out of town..), so I am saving something like that for later this year.. 🙂

I made these after seeing them on ETSY for $10/ea. I needed five and made all five for about $10 or less. Added a ring pop inside each one – looked like lune shaking all the ring pops in Wal-Mart to make sure I wasn’t getting broken ones, and then still bought extras! LOL. My girls loved them!

@bellaluna290:  I asked them pretty much right away, I was in town and they all were too! Perfect timing considering one is studying in the UK right now. Three are cousins and two are very close friends so I didn’t see that changing for any reason. They were thrilled! Most of them cried they were so happy. It’s wonderful to have these girls be so genuinely happy for me.

Hope yours go just as well!

my sister asked me at christmas if she was a bridesmaid…(1.5 years ago)…so I told her i was going to ask her but she was not my MOH (she’s my twin sister–I am a BM in her wedding not MOH so had no idea it would cause some issues)

after that I came home and messaged my MOH asking her to do that duty….

I knew my FI was going to propose so I asked my friend in calgary to be a BM before it even happened!

Then asked FI’s sister to be a BM during some christmas celebrations (hard to find a quiet moment but managed)

it was awkward and I would have done it more personally, but my sister out right asking ruined it

I made each of my bridesmaids a handmade card asking them to be my bridesmaid/maid-of-honor along with a woodburned box filled with a mini bottle of liquor, hand lotion, color swatches, wine glass charms, and a ring pop.

I can’t wait until mine are ready, I am not asking until about September!

I asked my friend to be MOH via text. I guess I’m boring. And I have no other bridesmaids just to keep it simple.
