I love the card idea. When my sister asked us to be in her wedding she had cards made for us but she gave them to us in person. If that is not possible, then I think mailing the cards would be just as great. Who doesn't love to get mail???
I sent email cards because I wouldn't be able to see all my ladies in person for months. I sent them individually as an attachment and they LOVED them
Great thanks for your help! I ordered the cards today and think the girls will like this nice surprise :)
I sent cards and all of the girls immediately called me and told me how much they loved them! I got them from Etsy as well :)
I b ought blank cards at Hallmark and my girls were thrilled! but i have swooned over a lot of etsy designed ones. DEF recommend it, all of them cried and loved them. Its a keepsake.
Def. send the cards. They're such a cute way to tell your soon to be BM's how much they mean to you and how much you'd love for them to stand by your side on your big day. Plus, as the PPs said, they make a great keepsake!
I think the cards are cute and they'll be a sweet keepsake! I'm sure once they get them they'll call you, then you can formally ask them over the phone. Or, could you wait until you can see them in person and deliver the cards and ask at the same time?

Hi all - I need some opinions. I saw these really cute customizable cards on Etsy for asking friends to be bridesmaids. I'd love to send these out, but do you think asking in a card is impersonal? I thought of asking them by phone, but felt I'd rather do it in person, which is not possible at the moment. So my other thought was the formal card followed by a phonecall, since I can't do it in person. Thoughts? Thanks a lot!
