@Legendre2014:  You are asking for advice about how to deliver a message. That’s fine, whatever, I cant’s help you with that so good luck.

But before you deliver the message, I strongly suggest that you think about what “being your bridesmaid” actually means in practical terms. Presumably, you want to maintain a good relationship with those whom you are asking. To do that, clear, honest, upfront communication is key.

@piacavoleKt:  This was hilarious:

“Most of us met while I was chugging something- why hide it?”

Leave it to the Brits to make me laugh.

@FauxPas2012:  Oh I wish I was a Brit- I lived there a few months, but I’m a dirty, dirty, deep southerner 🙂

I think that is a great idea.  This is how I asked my girls…made into a cute card.

Will you  help me shop for a gown? Wear whatever ugly dress I choose?   Be a sounding board? Plan a beautiful shower? Help bring out my creative side? Attend rehearsal dinner? Listen to me lose my mind? And assure me it will be ok? Be my lifelong friend? Keep me sane? Make me laugh? Walk down the aisle with a smile? Look beautiful, but not prettier than me? Pray with me? Get me to the church on time? Smile in all pics? Boogie on the dance floor? Hold my dress when I pee?

Well I guess I should have taken a pic of the finished product..  Iwas really cute.  the inside of the card said Be my Bridesmaid?  then I wrote a personal note to each girl.  The MOH was a little different.
