- Wedding: July 2016
My best friend is coming to my college town to go to a concert with me this weekend, and I’m hoping to take her out to brunch and ask her to be my maid of honor! I like the cutesy ways that people ask, but I didn’t want to do anything too cheesy, so I decided to fill a big Mason jar tumbler with little gifts in my wedding colors and write a nice letter inside a card. My wedding will be in July, and we’re having some Southern/rustic flavor in it, although that is not strictly the theme, so I thought the Mason jar would be appropriate!
Our colors are going to be shades of purple and light green. I got comfy socks, nail polish, a lilac lip gloss, earrings, a little note pad, mint gum, white chocolate, and of course, cheesy wedding stickers to pack into the cup (my friend likes to craft and scrapbook).
I stuffed everything inside. I think the stickers look really cute up against the clear cup. I got a BIG tumbler to hold everything.
I wrapped in a color-coordinating bag and bow…
…and wrote a sweet letter inside of a card. I ordered the template on Etsy and printed it onto cardstock.
We’ve been friends for sixteen years. Here we are in kindergarden, middle school, and recently.
I really hope she says yes!
Did anyone else do something special for asking their maid of honor?
