How should I do it? What do you think?

#1 RSVP card and Direction inside the Half Moon Enclosure:

#2 RSVP card and Direction loose inside the envelope behind the invite:

#1.  I think all loose parts should go inside the enclosure--it's a little neater and just makes more sense to me.

Sorry, I was trying to post the picture but it did not show up on my original post. So here's the link:

i don't know what kind of envelope you are using, but if this helps at all, i recently recieved an invitation that was petal fold inside an envelope. all of the enclosure pieces were inside the petal on top of the invitation. The first thing i saw was the response card. My fiance wasn't very impressed and told me he would rather not do our invitations in the same way.

what i suggest thinking about when you put your invitation together is what do you want your guests to see first? i personally did not like having to sort through response cards and directions before getting to the actual invitation. but that just MHO

Whoops... I took pic of my thank you envelope with the RSVP card on pic #2

Thanks guys. I should've planned better but originally I was not going to  do Direction Card so it seems silly to do a pocket fold for just invite and RSVP. But once I started letterpressing I fell in love with it and kept on looking for more projects to print :)

both look fabulous actually.  but i do vote for #2.  i like seeing the invitation first before all of the inserts.

I'm going to go away from popular vote and say #1.

If the invitation is on top and I pull everything out of the enclosure, you would see the invite first. In #2, I would probably sort through the loose items (rsvp, directions card) before taking out what is inside the enclosure. Does that make sense?

Anyhow, like I said before, they are absolutely stunning. I adore the colors.
