So for the wedding, I’m pretty sure we will be doing assigned tables. I’ve read numerous posts about why it’s a good idea and I am starting to see the light!
But here’s the problem. Our ceremony, dinner, and reception are all at the same location. There are about 10 tables that will be ON the “dance floor”. So after dinner, those 10 tables will be moved so that people can dance. They will line up chairs along each side of the “dance floor” as well, but the tables will be gone.
Do you think this will be awkward? If I have assigned seating and then after dinner, those 10 tables are taken away for dancing, would it be weird for those people to find other seats/tables (at someone elses previously “assigned table”) Does that make sense? Or do a lot of people leave after dinner?
Any input, ideas, or advice is welcome!! 🙂
