I am starting to panic….. Our wedding theme is Astronomy, but i have just fallen in love with a dress. BUT its light gold / champagne.
Our theme was going to be Midnight Blue, Ivory and Silver. With the bridesmaid in the blue. How do i incorpate the light gold / champagne colour??
Please help!! Thank you xx

Beautiful gown and really intresting theme! I think that dress looks white – not champagne/gold. A lot of times the dres industry uses the color champagne when its really more like ivory. I think it will look just fine with your color scheme!

Thank you! It is definitely champagne though…. Ivory seems to ‘wash me out’. White was even worse
This is my bridesmaid dress – but i am thinking of having the underneath bit in champagne, to match my dress.
Was just worried that i wouldnt be able to get the champagne colour to fit? even wondered if i needed to look for another dress

You can include little bits of gold along with the silver… Maybe have gold ribbons on flowers? Think of it as you being the warm, golden sun in the astronomy of your wedding day?

I like your way of thinking cyneswith. Must admit i was struggling. The table plan is going to be the planets, so i guess gold could be used somewhere there too?
There is one major thing i cant get out of my head – my H2B – would he wear gold or blue? Im guessing gold to match me? But would it be the waistcoat or cravat, or both? with the ushers / bestman in blue?

Waistcoat, definitely. Not as flamboyant for the ceremony, and he can take it off at the reception if he dislikes it. Of course, I’d ask him what his opinion was.
