ok, so i read this title and thought “never!”  i have tried it and was not a pleasant experience. and i wax my underarms, my legs, anything and anywhere but there. for me its worth the $60!

but the products i use for all other areas is Sally Hansen and its good and would recommend it.

I’ll recommend the Bliss Poetic Waxing Kit (for the microwave), available at Sephora or online.

I’ve done both -is there somewhere less expensive to get them done? I can get a brazillian done for $40 ($50 with tip) after looking (and trying) a few places.

The at home results don’t compare, and so much more efficient having a professional do it.

Parissa was the brand I think I remember using for the at home attempts!

I feel like logistically, this may be a bit difficult. I tried it once, but just couldn’t get the angles right to apply the wax and pull it off by myself. 🙁

I used to wax everything at home, it’s not that difficult once you figure out the right angles. But I just can’t wax myself anymore, it’s a mental block thing. I know the pain is coming and I don’t want to inflict it on myself. Most people say you get used to it over time but it just got worse for me.

Try it once, at least. So many of my friends swear by at-home waxing.
