- Wedding: September 2012
We’re having a Destination Wedding followed by a BBQ reception at our home. We’re looking at about 90 – 110 people. We have a few people invited from out of town, but I don’t expect a big turn out for just an at-home-bbq. I do want to reserve a block of rooms at a hotel at a better rate if anyone does want to come in from out of town. With that, there are no hotels that are actually walking distance to our house. That brings up the question of transportation. They’ll most likely either need to drive in or fly and rent a car. Another reason I don’t see many of our Out of Town guests making the trip.
Anyway, our home is in a suburb. Not exactly surrounded by hot spots. Should we get a block of rooms near to our home, so not far to drive? Or should we reserve a block of rooms in our downtown area where we have museums, zoos, bars, etc.?
