We are having people RSVP through our website, or by calling me. So far we have about 60 out of 150 yes’s, and we have a few people on the second list that we would like to send invites to. I was wondering when we should start calling people to find out if they’re coming? The wedding date is June 19th. Any feedback would be appreciated:)

What deadline did you give people to RSVP? If the deadline hasn’t passed, I wouldn’t start calling yet. Or, if you didn’t give them a deadling, maybe give those a call who you think will decline so you know if you can start inviting some b-list folks.

I want to know this too b/c our RSVP deadline was May 1st and we’re still waiting to hear from probably 50 people..

I’d say a week after you asked them to “Reply by…” – If you didn’t give them a date, I’d say 3 weeks before the wedding, or 1 week before you need to give the final number to your caterer. I’d give them AT LEAST until May 19. Gotta give people some time. Sit tight 🙂
In the mean time, try to see if your family friends can spread the word that you’re anxious to get hte final number and encourage responses.
