- Wedding: July 2013 - UK
We now have four weeks until the wedding, and:
– Our parish priest has been late to submit the church paperwork, and I have no clue when the officiating parish will receive it. Without the paperwork, the wedding cannot take place. Because of the ways that marriage licenses work in the UK, we couldn’t even have a civil ceremony on the day if that paperwork does not go through.
– The marriage counsellor is not responding to my messages about getting our last sessions booked.
– Only one of my bridesmaids has their shoes (and that’s only because I bought them for her). I told them that they should choose the shoes about five months ago, when the colour was super popular and they were all on sale. They’re going to struggle to find that colour now. I did mention this to one BM and she said “chillax. Your wedding is a whole month away!”. I did not respond to this, but it does not fill me with confidence.
… plus a whole heap of other things. I don’t want to pester people and make a fuss, but at what stage should I panic and unleash the mad bridezilla monster? At what stage should the panic set in? How should I approach this?
Thoughts, ladies and gents?
