One question though aren't you signed on for a new-2 year contract now?
@asunw...I have changed rate plans with them before w/o having it extend my contract...but since I just got a new phone in December and re-upped at that time it will only extend it a couple of months...if at all.
What all does the Unlimited Calling Plan include? (Data plan - internet browser, unlimited texts, emails, calls, etc.???) Just wondering because I'm thinking of switching to AT&T ....
@MrsK2be...it's just the calling plan. It does not include data or text. I have a Blackberry Bold and I have the unlimited calling plan plus the BB data plan which includes unlimited texts. Now that I have switched to the $69.99 voice plan...my bill will be around $119 per month.
they changed it in response to Verizon's price decrease. I work for att and usually we get emails about this sort of thing, but we got nothing because I think it was just a spur decision. Yeah, it's just unlimited calling, data and text are extra. How do you make that many calls? I'm on the smallest plan, it's my only phone and I only use like 25% of my minutes a month. I have like a gazillion rollover minutes.
Oh, if anyone's thinking of switching to att, let me know, I get referral points :P
@imLissy...I use my phone for business and personal and I talk on it a LOT. I use on average abt 10,000 minutes per month. A lot of that is FI and I falling asleep on the phone though...LOL.

So I was getting my daily news fix and ran across an article about unlimited cell phone service costs. Since I have AT&Ts unlimited calling plan I decided to read the article....and what did I learn you ask? Well unbeknowst to me...AT&T has DECREASED the cost of the unlimited calling plan from $100 to $69.99 without a peep to their customers. So I log into my account online hoping that my account was automatically updated to reflect the difference but no such luck.
....so I politely changed my rate plan to the $69.99 Unlimited rate plan....at a savings of $30.01 per month.
