  • Wedding: March 2013 - Callanwolde Fine Arts Center

We had our ceremony and reception at Callanwolde and I absolutely loved it. The staff was really easy to work with and I liked that I had the freedom to bring in whatever vendors I wanted and supply my own alcohol.

Here is the link to my photographer’s gallery: http://graceology.com/amy-tyler-callanwolde-atlanta-wedding-4-4-13/

  • Wedding: September 2014 - Stanley House Inn

Depending on your budget, the Botanical Gardens were GORGEOUS and you can choose from several locations.

We used “The Stanley House” in Marietta- definitely romantic, but not modern (Victorian) – had a garden area, fully catered, and we provided that alcohol.

Venue92 looked pretty swanky, and you can always contact some of the modern art museums in the area.

Summerour Studio and The Foundry at Puritan Mill are my two favorites. They’re a very industrial, loft style. Summer our has a beautiful veranda/garden area too. Puritan mill is mostly indoor I believe though.

  • Wedding: September 2015 - Villa Christina

I haven’t had my wedding yet but I toured Collanwolde and Villa Christina (along with many others). Ultimately we decided on Villa because of the convenience for the guests, etc. There is a brand new Hyatt connected! Also Collanwolde is on a road where traffic can be bad, especially if your wedding is on a Friday.  Unfortunately Saturdays were much more expensive.  Both are beautiful though! I know others who were  very happy with weddings at both.

FutureMrsMcIlrath:  They actually have a new website since they built the Hyatt so that one may be outdated.

http://www.atlantaperimetervillachristina.hyatt.com/en/hotel/weddings.html

They include quite a bit. All linens, chairs, votive candles, catering, beverages, cake (if you want), etc. The ceremony space is beautiful. You can choose between two ballrooms for your reception.

They give the bride and groom a room for the evening at the Hyatt and block room for your other guests.

They have a beautiful bridal salon area for you to go get ready in and do your hair/makeup and also a seperate changing area for the bride.

They have an area for the groomsmen to get ready / hang out.

The person I am working with there is great also. They recommended a great day of coordinator who has been doing weddings there for years. Let me know if you have any questions!!

YES! There is an all inclusive venue in Atlanta that has an outdoor ceremony site next to a river, a huge balcony and indoor reception and its ALL INCLUSIVE!! The only thing is you will have to provide your flowers and entertainment. My husband and I got married in April at the Vecoma at the Yellow river and it was amazing! we spent JUST OVER 10k on the wedding and it was perfect and beautiful. Check it out. make sure you go in and look at the place they just totally renovated their ceremony site and it is stunning. Make sure you tell them you heard about it from Danielle. I tell everyone I can about the place. also check out their FB page for recent pictures. http://vecoma1.com/ Here are pictures from my wedding on their page https://www.facebook.com/vecomaweddings/photos/?tab=album&album_id=10153629756869227
