Most Mantillas either come with a comb attached or provide one you can sew in. I wore my hair in a loose updo and attached the mantilla to the back of my loose bun, it was beautiful. I love mantilla veils
Just regular bobby pins. I wanted the mantilla closer to my face, not hanging off the back of my head. My stylist hid several bobby pins underneath the veil and only 2 are visible -- one on each side of my face. The pins do show up in close up photos but it's not that distracting in my opinion. I removed the veil for the reception and the comb would have destroyed my updo.
do you mind sharing a pic?
i want to take the veil off for the reception as well... and can definitely see the comb being difficult.

how does a mantilla stay in place? is there a comb or do people use bobby pins?
