104 invited, 71 accepted. There are five others who are either staff at our venue or can't give us a reply yet for one reason or another. I'm just hoping all the ones who accepted will actually be there.
I always heard that 80% will show up whether they RSVP yes or no, and 20% won't. I don't know how true it is, but that's what we're going on. :)
In any event, we invited 185 (including at least 12 we knew would never come) and had 148 RSVP yes. A total of 4 no-shows, including two people who got incredibly sick and one couple who had a panic attack and couldn't leave the house. So we had a response rate of just under 80%, and I would say that 90% of our guest list was local, we expected a pretty high response rate.
I'm not at that point yet but I've spoken to a couple of vendors and they each said that between 20-30% won't show. I'm hoping that's the case for us!
typically its 80% acceptance. Ours was lower. We had a TON of courtesy invites that we knew wouldnt come, and the wedding was OOT for his entire family. Not just OOT, like halfway or all the way across the county. We invited about 250, had 145 there
Invited 117, had 86 as a final count (including 3 vendors, my husband and me). Most of the extras were "+1s" who did not attend.
Ours was 265 invited, about 170 accepted. That put us at about 64% acceptance, which was largely a combination of older relatives who weren't comfortable with the drive and quite a few end-of-summer vacations.
We invited 123, we have 106 coming. All are no's are OOT except one who will be on a trip. OF course, all the people I didn't want who I invited to shut up my parents are coming- every single one!

Just curious...for all you wedding alumni...
How many people actually came out of the people you invited? I'm trying to figure out what the average attendance rate is!
