I have a few question for you, what part of the city does she live in? Center City? North East? South? Also what kind of atmosphere are you looking to take her out in? How old, might be the better question? For me, 31, I am looking into dinner at a BYOB in fishtown, and then heading to some other bars for drinks later. Let me know what you are looking for and i will try to get back to you with some good recommendations.
missbubbles- I'm not sure what side of town she lives in. She just moved there a year ago and then moved to another area of Philly a few months later. I know she lives in the burbs and not downtown. I'm 32 but she is 24. I think something casual would be a good fit for her. She is more of an outdoors type person. So no bars that would require a certain dress code but then no biker bars. Some thing in the middle of the two.
Thanks for your help! I've planned lots of bachelorette parties but nothing out of State!
So she lives in the suburbs, but do you want to have the party downtown? I can help if I know which area you want to have the party in.
I recommend the Continental Midtown.

It's got fun, trendy decor, fancy drinks, and tasty food. It's not cheap but it's definitely not outrageous, and you can absolutely get away with wearing nice jeans there.
After dinner, you can walk a few blocks south to Rittenhouse Square and have drinks at Tria or Rum Bar.
danadelphia- Yes she lives North of Phily looks like on the map about a 45 mintue drive. Which I think will be okay for her because she can ride with her FI's sister. I will be flying in so if I can avoid having to rent a car that would be awesome for me. Love the resturant! Thanks! I"m going to google the Tria and Rum Bars! :)
I'm not sure how far it is from Doylestown, but I was going to suggest the Manayunk Brew Pub (not Brewery). It's casual and fun and you can sit outside or inside.
I agree with the Continental midtown if you'll be in the city. I believe that location is the one that now has a cool rooftop lounge/bar area. I checked it out last summer and it was pretty neat.
For my best friend's bachelorette party in the city, we stayed at the Sheraton Society Hill and went to the Continental for dinner and cockails, then headed to Swanky Bubbles after for after dinner drinks and cocktails. Had a fab time!
I agree with Danadelphia & pooks75- re: Continental Midtown. The other thing that's cool about Philly is that a lot of the bars in the Rittenhouse and Old City areas are within walking distance or a short cab ride, so if you don't like the scene of one place you're at, you can just leave and be at another place minutes later.
There are a ton of cool places in Philly, so if you get some names of places you are unsure of, come back and ask us!
Have fun! :)

My friend lives in Philly and I'm flying there next month to take her out on the town for her Bachelorette party.
I have been to Philly once for work, but honestly I'm not familiar with good places to eat dinner and then go out at. I will also need a hotel room. Something near the action but not too costly like around 100-150/night. Since it will be me and maybe one other person splitting the cost.
Any suggestions? It will more then likely be about 3-5 of us going.
Thanks
