I think there’s a lot of pressure on pregnant people to lead these ultra healthy lifestyles and I can see how people beat themselves up. I’m newly preggo and I want to hear what naughty things other preggo bees have done. So confession time. Do you still take a swig of DH’s beer? Do you eat funky cheese? Get your nails did? Scoop the shit box? Let’s hear it!

I ate at mcdonalds frequently and drank diet coke throughout my pregnancy.

I’ve been drinking coffee still. And was poaching eggs for myself quite a bit until I realized the other day that means the yolk is uncooked but so far that’s all. I’m still in the first trimester so I don’t think the cheats are worth it. Im not opposed to having a few sips of wine or something etc later on.
I did paint like our entire house during weeks 6 and 7

@GrannyPantiesRock: Im very good! Mainly just overindulging in carbs. And snacking at 3am as i have an issue with sleeping! Problem is, I feel incredibly sick if I don’t eat every few hours.
I do plan to have a very odd glass of wine when I hit the second trimester.

If it’s on the don’t list, there’s a good chance I have done it!
-diet soda – double whammy with caffeine and asparatame
-deli meat that isn’t heated
-feta and bleu cheese
-i lived off french fries BK chicken sandwhiches my first trimester
-I have had a few sips of alcohol (shh don’t tell DH, he won’t let me near it!)

@MsJ2theZ: That makes me feel better about the paitning. DH is painting the nursery right now and I spent a good deal of time in there the first hour or so. The smell is getting to me now though so I think I might have to go downstairs or leave the house! The paint we got for the trim is low odor/no VOC, but the wall paint most certainly is not.

-I drink coffee/tea/hot chocolate/soda/diet soda (I don’t over do it)
My worst confesstion
-I had a spoon full of raw cookie dough.

@PoppyH: Haha! That reminds me! I can’t control myself – I MUST like the bowl if I’m baking. I’ve had many spoonfuls of raw brownie batter. 🙂

I have been eating burgers and fries at least a few times a week, and craving carbs big time. So not much healthy food going into this body at the moment. My doctor says as long as I’m on prenatals, he’s not worried. I also have a cappucino every morning, and haven’t quit drinking Pepsi. I also get my nails done (gel) every 3 weeks and just got my hair colored today (I’ll be 14 weeks tomorrow).

@GrannyPantiesRock: I’ve had about 4 glasses of wine, an occasional deli meat sandwich, sometimes (like the whole 1st trimester) I have skipped my veggies, I drink diet drinks. Oh and I helped paint the nursery without a respirator. I hope the baby doesn’t have a tail!

I ate a runny yolk egg today :O But it was soooooooo good!!!

I haven’t exercised once since I’ve found out I’ve been pregnant. I’ve gone on walks, but that’s about it. I’m just so tired!
I also had queso last night. We asked if it was pasteurized and they said it was, so I’m not too worried about it.
I can’t seem to drink 8 glasses of water a day either.
I’m so sick of hearing about Listeria….
