(Closed) Attire for rehearsal dinner at Chinese restaurant

I would say business casual, khakis or nice jeans and a nice shirt. I had a outdors BBQ after our rehearsal,  but I still wanted people to look nice for pics. If not I would have ended up with a groom & best man in Dickies and a band t-shirt & my mom in one of her famous ” matching granny sweat suits.” lol IMO most people will want to look “nice” in front of a large group of people. If there are specific people you have in mind, ie like my family, the term business casual is polite and gets the point across. Good luck!
