Well, we weren’t planning on going on a honeymoon right away. (I am in school all summer long)

But we daydreamed about not doing anything too out of the ordinary. When I graduate I want to go on the BIG trip to Italy to celebrate being married, surviving school, being DONE with school… but in the meantime I haven’t been to Yosemite, or bunch of other scenice places within the U.S. We were considering taking up some of our friends offers to who have ‘vacation’ or ‘second homes’ to stay near lakes etc just to veg and take in the peacefulness of life in general. go road biking, go hiking, chill.

Maybe you can think of places within the U.S. you haven’t been to and would like to go? A vineyard? A coastal community? I bet you could get some amazing deals right now with all the cancellations that are probably happening.

Gee, I’m glad I’m not the only June bride who hasn’t booked her honeymoon yet!  We don’t even know where we’re going to go.  (I’d LOVE to go to Scotland and Ireland… but that’ll have to wait.)

I have a feeling we’ll do something domestic, like Sparkles suggested.  Maybe Savannah, Northern CA, or a National Park (like Glacier in MT).

@luckeyme09:  Definitely… we’ll make it there someday!  We live in Miami, so the popular tropical destinations don’t really appeal to us for such a special trip.  I’ve asked FI to surprise me with our honeymoon.  So, we’ll see!  :o)

We haven’t booked our honeymoon.  I think we are going to just do a year anniversary trip instead since money is tight, we are moving most likely and a million other things so it isn’t the right time.  Plus I don’t really want to be on a plane with a bunch of possibly swine flu people!

We just booked ours for St. Maarten. As far as we’ve heard, the weather is supposed to be fine in June.

We’re heading to Northern Italy in late June!  More worried about being charged too much than anything else, but it was a perfect place for us romantics who love to travel and aren’t too much of ‘beachy’ people.

We were glad we picked what we picked once the swine flu started spreading!

Playa del Carmen and we hope it will be fine by the time we depart mid-June.  Our backup plan is Europe (Italy or Ireland), we’ll sit down 1 month before our departure date and make the call on changing all our reservations or not.  The kicker is we didn’t get around to booking our Mexican trip until 3 days before the H1n1 flu hit the media.

We haven’t booked our honeymoon yet either – so I’m kinda glad we aren’t the only ones! We thought about postponing it till later in the year since we both go to school and so money is tight right now. We would love to go to hawaii or australia…..or just anywhere fun!
