Not Bogart. He's just too old for her, and looks it. I couldn't watch "Sabrina" without thinking "ewwww!" because of that. Cary Grant at least looks less... weathered.

Yes, definitely Cary Grant! Also, I associate Bogart with Katherine Hepburn (to whom he was married or at least in a reltionship with, I believe) so much that I could never picture him with anyone else.
Can we add a nomination? 
In terms of recognizable and romantic, I'd pair Aubrey with Gregory Peck. Roman Holiday is such a classic (plus he's way more handsome in it than either Grant or Bogey!). Although, the movie does have a completely bittersweet ending, so it might not work for your project!
Cary Grant...hands down!
MissSnapdragon...did you mean to say Bogart and Lauren Bacall? Cuz I'm pretty sure they were never an item as Katherine Hepburn was linked with Spencer Tracy.
Favorite onscreen couple....Scarlett and Rhett (Vivien Leigh and Clark Gable) for the win!!!

I love love love Bogey, but for the purpose of your question, I'd have to agree with the majority and say Cary Grant.
(Do we get to find out what your project is?? I'm intrigued

I'll also vote for Gregory Peck.
Grant is too old for Hepburn (26 years her senior). Bogey I assoicate with Bacall.
Unfortunately, Gregory Peck is not an option for my project, otherwise he would win hands-down! Thanks for all your votes, ladies. Keep 'em coming! :)
Bogart as far as recognizability between the two (and Sabrina such a romantic movie, to boot) but also consider Gregory Peck and Audrey... also very recognizable and Audrey's Oscar winning performance!
I would absolutely say Cary Grant or Gregory Peck. If you are thinking Bogey from Sabrina with Hepburn, they actually did not get along at all. She almost had a "thing" with William Holden and Bogey was drunk and miserable throughout the picture. He is amazing, but that is not one of the best romances to use as an ideal.
I love Cary Grant... Even with the age difference, he is by far my favorite pairing with Audrey!

But if I had to pair with anyone I would agree with subee... Audrey Hepburn and Gregory is my all time fav :)

I wanted to poll the hive re: a choice I have to make for one of my wedding projects. Which of the following two onscreen couples do you find more romantic/recognizable, and why?
1. Audrey Hepburn + Cary Grant
2. Audrey Hepburn + Humphrey Bogart
