We are thinking of the Pacific Northwest. From either Portland or Seattle we can hit the beach, the city and some great national parks. I know alot of people are the resort type, but I am too antsy to enjoy sitting on the beach for 7 days, and I think this will give us alot of variety and good food.  We are planning to stay at the Ace Hotel, which is a very cool, boutique hotel group. THe one in Portland includes free bikes rental with your stay!

I believe we are doing Napa/San Francisco.  We’re worried about hurricane season, so wanted to stay away from the Atlantic/Caribbean/Gulf of Mexico.

We never wanted to go on a far-away honeymoon…it would be lovely but we don’t have the money and we love it just as much here…so instead we are going to go for a road trip around British Columbia for a week or so…not exactly Haiwii but it will still be amazing ๐Ÿ™‚

we are actually holding off on the honeymoon…not enough vacation time, having $$ to spend, hurricane season…oy! We’re probably going to do a vacation in the spring (March, April, May?) once we’ve put some money away again and decompress from all the wedding madness ๐Ÿ™‚

I actually have no idea yet. We’re on a really tight budget, so I’ve suggested we go to a lakeside cabin somewhere in the province or take a road trip to Newfoundland for the weekend. We’ll figure it out better I think when we get to the 6 months to go mark, when we have a better idea of what our finances will be like in the summer.

We are thinking of going to the Dominican Rebublic but haven’t decided for sure. They have some great resorts and prices. We are looking for ideas!

I don’t know! It seems like travel guide I read states August is a terrible month to travel! I know I still want to do something, though- I’m torn between a vegging out, beach type vacation or a city that we could explore- we’re more city people, but something about laying around for a week without anything to do sounds too awesome to pass up.

We actually just booked our honeymoon and we are going to the Sandals in Antigua!  So excited!  I know it is hurricane season but honestly I love the Caribbean and Sandals has a hurricane policy and we bought insurance in case anything happens so I am not really stressing about it.  My sister just came back from one of the Sandals in Jamaica for her honeymoon and she said they did such a great job- a worry-free honeymoon.  FI and are planning a trip to Europe the first year we are married (it’s also where we met) so we didn’t want to do that for our honeymoon.  Wish it were closer as that will be my next vacation!

We haven’t decided yet. We’re on a very tight budget so I’m really REALLY hoping that someone will offer to pay for a nice honeymoon for us. Otherwise we’ll probably go back to the cabin where we got engaged (aaaaaaaawwww).

My dream honeymoon would be bora bora or somewhere else in the south pacific. I’d do Hawaii in an instant since I’ve never been, and I’d love to go to Europe (like Amsterdam or London or somewhere in Ireland). I’d also LOVE to go to Japan someday, but it would probably be way too expensive for a honeymoon.

We are pondering on possiblily going to Egypt to see the pyramids and do a nile cruise, maybe include Morrocco or have a little sun in the Maldives…not too sure yet.  We have to speak with a local travel agent hopefully in February.
