Thought I'd start one of these since I started mailing invitations already ( I have an A & B list hence why I sent some early)

we sent out invitations on may 2nd: 150 of them
rsvp's with a yes: 54
rsvp's with a no: 22
grand total so far: 76 recieved, which is 50% so far! not to bad.
all the cabins on our property are rented out, but they won't tell us who for privacy, so hopefully we get some more in pretty soon. they've got a june 16th deadline!
I don't have my spreadsheet in front of me, but I'll give it my best guess from memory!

My aunt hasn't actually RSVP'd, but sent my mom a message saying that when she booked her room at the hotel, she had alot of problems, so i'm taking that as her RSVP!

Wow, yall sent yours out early! Ours is August 20th and I will probably get them out at the tail end of this week or beginning of next week. We have a July 20th RSVP date, so I didn't want them to go out too soon and have people forget to RSVP.
I'm a little cheesed off that we haven't gotten any RSVP's from our overseas guests. They were SO pissed off at us for not sending save the dates (I don't see why you need this when we phoned you with the info) that they wanted out invites out ASAP -So I busted my ass and sent them.
Current RSVP count =0 :(
awww, i'm sorry! I haven't heard form any of my overseas guests either. seems i'm at a stalemate, no more replies coming in....from anyone:(
I'm only getting local replies so far. I sent mine out early cause 1) the impending strike 2) we have people from Ontario and California invites and 3) I'm uber impatient and a planner...
none of my far oot guests have replied yet!
Wow, all of my fellow August brides, you guys are too fast for me. I'm stressing out now waiting for my invites to be ready for me to pick up. I had a local artist do them and she claims it will be ready by next week. I have the envelopes, I will just stuff them when i received them. I'm buying my stamps tomorrow. My RSVP deadline is July 6. I hope everyone sends them in before that deadline. I have to give numbers soon as well. I invited close to 200 people. I'm exepected at least 100-150. My party along and immediate family is about 60, the rest I have to count for based on invites.
i'm lucky in that I don't have to give my final count until about 3 days before, so I left myself almost a month to track people down who don't rsvp.
so far, everyone who has rsvp'd is coming (except a +1). I'm hoping some decline, as I'm having a minor freak out about my budget ATM. Having 5-10 people show up definately wouldn't be a BAD thing right now! (that makes me sound like a horrible person...I swar I'm not! lol)

Funny enough, the only people to respond so far are friends, with the exception of the one lone "no"- they were family. LOL. You'd think family would be the first to respond...

I think the part that annoys me the most is that most of these people already know if they are going or not....they just won't send back the reply card!
Also- some ppl said they have already lost in the invitation or THREW IT AWAY! Rude. UGH! Luckily, I have a pdf of the invite so I can email it to them if needed.

that's BARELY 50% and the rsvp date is in two weeks. UGH! I'm not looking forward to tracking ppl down for their answers!
Anyone care to shed some light on why the people overseas who have had their invites o months for almost twand an RSVP date of tomorrow have yet to reply?
I mean I know 2 of them have plane tickets already, but have no idea if they are bringing their spouses or kids. The least they could do is call us and let us know. I'll shoot myself if they replied via mail since we specifically asked they call on the RSVP!!!! (because of the postal strike and so we can find out when and how they are coming and help with travel)
My RSVP date for everyone is just around the corner and I'm only at 1/2. Its worrying me because of the postal strike I'm not sure who has their's or not.
@kermie:Do you know that they've received them? I have to assume that overseas mail may be more "at risk" of failed delivery.
@awpeele: Ironically. the only person we know is coming did not recieve her's (thats how we know she's coming because she told us her brother got his and she just looked at that and has her plane ticked) Oh...I suppose thats an RSVP! WOO 1 overseas RSVP!
I know the ILs have theirs because MIL was talking about the wedding website with them on the phone. SIL also told MIL she bought a dress. I only find out about this through FI...no one actually contacts us directly.
I'll have FI hound them this weekend.
We are already having to track people down so that we can get answers! I want to be able to invite the B list in a timely fashion...but that is going to be a TASK! *sigh*
Did you all # your rsvp cards or envelopes? i saw a post about others doing it but hadn't heard of it before? interested to know how many are doing this?
@MaryC140: I was going to do it but I have a spreadsheet so I know exactly WHO didn't RSVP yet. Not sure I get the number thing if you already have a spreadsheet

My guests seriously need to get their butts together! We're leaving for our cruise on July 22, so if I don't have an RSVP response by July 15, people are getting a phone call from yours truly!
