Hey I was wondering what all the other august 2012 brides were having as there colors?

I have a crazy list of colors (It all makes sense in my head i swear) They are Hot pink, Orange, Red, Yellow, Turquoise, and green. Its based on summer and flowers and dont worry im planning on using white to balance everything out too!

I'm not sure! Either royal blue and bright yellow, or pale turquoise and dusky pink.

Black, white with splashes of red throughout. Not very summery colors but oh well I don't care ;)

@linz09:  I'm thinking my colors are going to be like the opposite shades of yours, going with a light purple and navy blue

I am doing Champagne, Eggplant and Kelly Green! I'm in love with the idea of champagne bridesmaid dressed but am not sure if it will look bad against my wedding dress...so I guess I will wait until I pick my dress first and go from there.

How funny - I've seen very few people on the board with a blue/purple colour scheme, and it turns out that we're all getting married next August! Our colours are cornflower blue and various shades of purple (mid to dark tones).

Mauve, Ivory and hints of blush. I like the other colour suggestions! I wanted navy blue with cream earlier, it's a pretty combo I think. :)

Our main color is a deep purple/plum color (my favorite color!). We're accenting it with silver and maybe some green.. haven't figured it out yet.

Green and white and some bits of yellow... natural greens, like grass and trees and happy summer colours. Dear weather, please be happy summer weather. :)

I think I'm going to go with a palette of blues and either gray or beige as a secondary color, with yellow as an accent.  FI and I met at college, where our school colors were blue and gold, so while I don't want the reception to look like a pre-game rally, the color scheme will be a nod to our alma mater.  :)

We're more going for a feel than colors... We want a paste-ly, vintage, feel.  But our "inspiration" colors/objects are white milk glass, champagne/blush, ivory and light light pastel pink peonies.

We're going for Ivory, Charcoal and Black. I like that there will be punches of green in the floral arrangements to give a real shot of color amidst so much neutral.

We're doing a mix of gray, ivory, khaki, mustard, and white. Found some great fabrics by Joel Dewberry that we're using.
