Ok, so I haven't got mine yet, but have any of you super-organised August 2012 brides? If so, show them off here!
Well, initially we were going to get married this year October, but things fell through. So I have a dress, but it's NOT the dress. I went the other day and tried on the one I LOVE.. As of right now, I've not commited. Need to work things out ;)

Yes, I bought it last weekend at Church Street Bridal and brought it home with me. There is a picture of it in the CSB thread, but I had to post under a different name because I'm afraid FI would snoop.
I am going to start trying some dresses on the 18th :) Looking forward to my appointment, a bit nervous though!
I'm so glad other brides have their dresses already too :) Just picked up mine today

@futuremrsmaista: I am in LOVE! must upload a pic of my dress to here to show everybody, I've found it but I'm contemplating buying it on pre-owned dresses.com... eeep scary!

@ivyperks yes but i try not to look at other dresses. i was more afraid that i wouldnt like a dress as much as this one if i let this one go, it was going to be discontinued.
@ivyperks- not at all. i fell in love with my dress 12 months ago from a picture online, tried it on for the 1st time 3 monts ago, and probably tried on 50 dresses after that. finally gave in and ordered it on saturday. when you know, you know... regardless of how early it is! the trick is to STOP looking at dresses once you order one!
I have mine...it totally is what I envisioned myself wearing. I did try on a few and I plan to just not look at other dresses at all, focusing on other details of the dress, shoes and makeup.
Damn ladies....I feel like such a slacker :P I have yet to even try a dress on!
Aww man! I feel so late, loll! I am stuck between so many dresses I know exactly what I want but not sure how to carry it out! I have been drooling over the Maggie Sottero Demi for almost a year now, but I went to the bridal store and cant fit any of the samples on dresses I actually like! (I'm a street size 10-12) I think the main problem is I'm very hippy and I HAVE to have a mermaid gown so they never come over my hips! Soooo frustrating...anyway I want to wait to lose a little weight but meanwhile here i smy dream dress...I saw the Aniston and fell in love with her too...but I wont be able to choose until I can actually SEE them on me.

And here is ANiston...I just LOVEEEE the beading on the bodice...it is so gorgeous to me, and I have a slight obsession with tulle, haha!
I just ordered mine this past weekend...because I am short they had to order a special order one to fit my height and said it would take 7-8 months to come in! Here it is

My plan is to buy it in November. I'm going to NY to try on the VW White collection, so fingers crossed one will work!

@Ivyperks: ah now i am getting mine made. so dress maker all booked so i guess i kind of have it lol its a mix of a couple of dresses mainly allure 8714 but with a few alterations lol
Here is my Allure dress for my August 4th 2012 wedding. The one I'm wearing in these photos was off the rack, so I doubt I'll need many alterations once it's ordered in. I love her and can't wait to wear her!
Ordered mine and glad I went with the dress I really really wanted, and not what everybody was pushing me to get :)
Should get her in January or thereabouts - which is our 9th anniversary as a couple! Lucky 9 wotcha! :D
@Belle Italia : Thank you!! I got it at a priscilla of boston sample sale, and now that they're closing, I'm SO glad I did! It was originally 10k, and I bought it for 1K! Best decision ever.
Beautiful dresses everyone! I brought mine home this weekend just gone. So happy, she's hanging in the spare room. Wish I didn't have to wait so long to wear her!
OMG guys!! I'm freaking out now! I can NOT commit to a dress...IDK if its because I keep visiting bridal shops alone? I dont want to be swayed by family but I want them to like my dress...IDK...super frustrated now...I cant try on the samples of the ones I really like so I'm just getting nervous. I'm tall (5'10) so I'll need to get extra length so I know that will take too long. If I order my gown in December will that be enough time to get my dress in time for fitting before my wedding?
I've had mine since April! And I love it! It won't be in until next May though :(
@HisWifey2012:I'm having the same problem (well it's mostly price. I found one but having trouble swallowing the price!). I was recently told by a bridal salon that most dresses don't take longer than 6 months to come in. So if you did order in December you *SHOULD* be good to go.
There may be unforseen circumstances but she told me not to worry and don't feel pressured because of time constraints. They can always put a riush on dresses too!
So... after my crazy last minute dash to the states at the weekend, I have my dress!!!! Yay!!!!
It's a VW and I love, love, love it. My FI knows I'm on here, so at the mo I'm unable to go into details for fear he'll see. All I can say is that it is 100% me. The first dress I tried on too! I should be able to pick it up in November.

I got my dress back in July!
I finally made a decision!! Saga by La Sposa! I am pretty excited to cross this off my list! I only tried on about 90 dresses!
Take me off the list for having a dress. The cleaners couldn't get my sample dress clean :o(
