I found a 15-day weather forcast on accuweather.com and I'm checking a billion times a day.  Right now they are calling for a high of 73 and partly sunny, PERFECT for my outdoor ceremony and reception!!

    Is anyone else weather obsessed??

yes!! i had been just checking weather.com, which only goes 10 days ahead, but then i found accuweather and it was instant obsession!

neither our ceremony nor reception are outdoors, but we have a TON of outdoor pictures planned...

Hilarious, I just made fun of my fiance for giving me a "shhh" during the weather tonight so he could listen for the forecast for almost 2 weeks away. I think it's funny that even though they rarely get weather right for tomorrow, he's going to trust it this many days in advance... That said, now that I know where I can get a forecast this far out, I imagine I'll get a little click happy myself.

We're indoor and outdoor because our reception is on the Roof at the Wit Hotel, but I can't imagine being stuck inside looking out at gross weather.

I just got a 10-day forecast email from weather.com and I'm not happy about it. It has rain leading up to the day and then "cool" and "mostly cloudy." I'm trying not to get too worked up. Someone please tell me it's still too early!!!!

I think it's still too early.  I've checked the 15-day forcast every day that it has been available and it has changed every day.  Today they are saying cold and raining YellFrown

My FI thinks that the credibility of 15-day forecasts ranks somewhere between witchcraft and technical analysis for financial markets, but it's fun to check anyway! Right now Accuweather is predicting a partly sunny day in the 70s, which is cooler than it's been lately. If that's an accurate prediction, I'm sure the bridal party will be pleased that we won't be melting in the heat for outdoor photos!

Bcusebabe, it is waayyyyy to early! We just got married on August 1st, and one week before it said thunderstorms, then by Wednesday it said perfect and sunny, and then Saturday morning it was overcast with thunderstorms in the early afternoon...in other words exactly when we were supposed to start pictures. Luckily, it didn't thunderstorm, just rained, and there was a bridge at our picture location that we could stand under and get some pretty cool shots.

In other words, don't trust anything! Sure, I would have preferred a little sunnier but our day was absolutely perfect even with the rain!

ugh ... I hope you are right honeylove26!  B/c they are calling for rain the whole week leading up the wedding and I'm one day away from seeing the actual day!!!  But that much rain makes for a very soggy ground for my outdoor wedding!!  But ... we're going to get married no matter what!!  Kiss

Haha, yes!  The forecast for me right now is a high of 70 and partly sunny... chance of rain in the morning.  70 in August in Michigan is unheard of...  I hope it comes true!!

85 degrees and a 30% chance of thunderstorms!  Here's hoping that don't come true!

Haha...yes, I check accuweather all the time, and now weather.com as a cross check (of course they're never the same :-P). It's alternating between sunny and 70s, and showers/thunderstorms. Still praying for sun....

70 and mostly cloudly... perfect for our outdoor pictures!!  I prefer accuweather because they tell me there's no chance of rain, while weather.com tells me I have a 30% chance of showers.  Smile
