How are my twins doing!?!? I had my final fitting and picked up my dress the other day! Got so excited when i had it on...just ready for the big day to be here!! Got my marriage license the other day. We finished up all our meetings with the pastor. Now just time to focus and do the little things. Need to get my programs done quickly. Everything else is falling into place!

Hey there! Im getting married on the 28th, and yes it is coming up fast!

I had my final fitting last week also- it was so wierd when I took it off and thought- its only 3 weeks tillI wear it for real!

What do you have left to do? I still need to print our menu's (at home) and each tables decorations into spereate boxes. Thsoe ar eth only big tasks!

Hey there, date twins!

Some days I feel like I have it all together, and some days put me into total panic-mode!

Today is cake baking day! I'm baking our wedding cake plus six layer cakes for our cake buffet. We're having:

Vanilla Bean Pound Cake with strawberries and Grand Marnier Buttercream

Chocolate Pound Cake with Nutella, Chocolate-Fudge Buttercream and Hazelnuts

Red Velvet with White Chocolate Cream Cheese Frosting

Carrot Cake with Maple Cream Cheese Frosting

Spice Cake with Dulce de Leche and Caramel Buttercream

Flourless Mint Chocolate Ganache Torte

and our wedding cake is going to be:

Lemon Pound Cake with Lemon Curd and Fresh Raspberries

... I need to go get a move on! Hope everyone elses' planning is getting wrapped up -- can't wait to see pictures from all the Aug. 27th weddings!

I am August 27 too! I can't believ it is only 19 days away now! I still feel like there is so much to do. We still have to finish making our seating chart and paying our bills :(

Plus our programs...

I had my final dress fitting yesterday and it felt surreal realizing just how close we are now! I am so looking forward to marrying my best friend :D

Hope everyone is staying calm and enjoys the time leading up to our beautiful days!

Hi date twins!

Everyone seems to be at about the same stage as me. I still have to do the seating chart and our programs, as well as the escort cards, ring pillows and find gifts for my ring bearers (SO HARD!)

We just had our meeting with our Pastor last weekend. This evening I'm working on table numbers, and yesterday I finally found some shoes that I like. Oh and on Monday I picked up our marriage license! YAY!

I'm still worrying about the weather. I see thunderstorms heading our way at the end of the 14 day forecast..... Not good for our outdoor wedding

Missmollysue i hope your cake baking goes well. they all sound delicious!!!

this weekend i need to engrave the wedding party's glasses. buy the ring bear his gift..also found this tricky! buy ties for the ushers. need to make our favors(cake balls) this weekend or next. my programs are made but need printed! 16 more days! im more excited than anything and almost ready for it to be here... :)

I can't wait for it to get here already!

I still have the entire OOT bag process to do (can't get started until I get there in a week), plus I haven't exactly figured out a card box yet. I think it'll end up being a hobby lobby no fuss one. Plus fun things like shopping for the honeymoon!

@msflowerball: OMG! I would totally be having a panic attack! I admire you for staying so calm. Do you have a back up?

I picked up my dress this afternoon!!! :D The programs are done and I made the pillow portion of our ring pillows (just need to make the flowers - I'm doing that famous martha stewart pillow). I finally found gifts for my ring bearers... what else.... I managed to pick a perfume I want to wear.

The things I have left to do now are totally superficial and completely unecessary:
- Make Signs so people know which driveway (OK, this one is kind of important)
- Book a mani/pedi (i've never had a manicure, now's as good a time as any right?)
- Get my brows waxed, and decide if I want to wax my legs & Bikini area... (never done that either)
- Finish the seating chart (This one is kind of important too I guess)

I think that's it! I'm probably forgetting something though.
