@kansas bee: yay, date twin! i can relate to the feelings of nothing is getting accomplished. i have finally delegate things to other people since i know i won't be able to get them all done before the wedding...now i just stress hoping what i delegated will turn out how i wanted! can't wait for this weekend, it's my shower! :)
I was just thinking about how I have turned into Bride Brain. Nothing else seems to register with me anymore. I still have DIY projects to complete as well as alterations. To make matters worse, my best friend is getting married at the end of this month so I have her showers/bachelorette party plus a coworkers wedding next month as well as my shower and bachelorette party. Goodbye, life, hello weddings.
Im Aug 7th close enough, yes I am freaking OUT!!! I feel like I have soooo much to do and don't have no help. Miss Tatas, I just went through that, my best friend just got married on May 28th, and I was in the wedding and she was an over kill bride.
Now I'm working on mine!
We're having our wedding reception on August 6th even though we're already married. I know how you feel. There is so much to do, and I'm only planning a reception!!!!!
Cripes, I was feeling so good and then I sat down and started a new to do list. Now I have more things to do, no time to do it and we are under 60 days.... But all that and I'ver never had so much fun in my life! I can't wait.
Haha--"Bride Brain" is my new favorite thing to say!

I thought I had so much accomplished, but the closer it gets the more I realize how many things I have left to do! I don't think I've ever been so busy in my life. My weekends are pretty much booked until the wedding. It's getting so exciting, I can't wait!

love the "bride-brain" too! mine is definitely in overdrive. I keep thinking of little projects to add-on, even though I have lots of DIY stuff not completed. but it has been so fun, and I can't wait for the day to get here!
Severe bride brain over here.....I think all of my family and my FI probably want the old me back haha
But seriously, I felt like I was doing well on my list until I hit about three months. Then the list like tripled somehow! And now its like, I can't believe I have under 60 days to get ALL of this done. But....it will all get done and we will all have lovely weddings, woohoo!

Hi date twins!
Does anyone else feel like the closer the day gets, the less you get accomplished? I sit at work all day thinking about nothing other than the wedding! As the date gets closer, more and more exciting wedding-related things are happening. This weekend is my first dress fitting, followed by two shower weekends and my bachelorette!
I'm getting excited!
