I just mailed my invitations this week (late, I know!) and for some reason that made me super excited. Like, having a sleepless night excited. I'm almost ready, with the exception of placecards, rehearsal dinner, and a few signs. I feel pretty calm about what's left on the to-do list.
I'm ready to have fun. I can't wait! I don't want it to go by too quickly, but I know it will!
Super excited and just a total ball of nerves. Are you girls ready to go, what do you have left on your to do list?
I'm excited!!! I just can't wait. :)
We still have to finalize music choices, find a shuttle for our guests, finish our out of town bags, do the final fitting for my dress, do table assignments (once all the RSVPs are in), and figure out what to do about a limo. I think that's it...
That day will be our 1st anniversary! I hope your weddings are all you hope for! we had a blast!
I'm counting down the days and just can't wait!! I'm looking forward to the start of the rest of my life...plus we're going to start TTC after our honeymoon, so even more excited!
My bridal shower and bachelorette party are next weekend, so I know that my excitement level will go up even further!!
Hope you ladies are enjoying these last few weeks before the excitement and craziness!
I am SUPER excited, but also SUPER nervous! It's just going by wayyy too fast, and I know that time is simply not going to slow down. Next week Wednesday, we start our mini vacay, followed by a cousin's wedding the following weekend, as well as my birdal shower with family. So I feel like that eats up two whole weeks right there! Then we have to meet with our pastor to finialize our ceremony, get our marriage license, work on programs, finish up the floral decorations, oh boy! Glad to see so many 7th brides, though...we can make it through together. (:
August 7th for me too,
I still haven't:
finalized our reception menu
picked our dance songs
made up ceremony programs
finished my seating plan (started it)
What are you putting in your out of town baskets?? I feel like i should do them but I dont want them to be too expensive.
Excited? YES
Prepared? NO
Still have to:
Finalize programs
Finalize menu cards
Write timeline
Get all the stuff for the OOT bags
Track down all the outstanding RSVPs
and I'm sure I'm forgetting everything else
I have appointments with all my vendors this week to finalize menu choices, number of centerpieces, types of bouquets, etc. I still have a couple DIY projects to finish up: veil, lazo de boda, and programs.
What would really help is if the 60 nonresponsive guests could RSVP so I know how many people are actually coming to this thing...

I picked up my dress yesterday and it fits great!! I had my bridal shower and bachelorette party this past Saturday but it didn't hit me that the wedding is in 3 weeks until I put that dress on last night!!
I'm getting excited. I have my last dress fitting on Monday. I've started to get all of my beauty maintenance appointments in: bikini wax scheduled for four days before wedding, eye brows, getting lash extensions on Monday, hair done on Friday, mani/pedi scheduled for day we leave to travel to our wedding, etc. So much maintenace but it'll all be worth it!
I'm so excited!!!
I am excited, and starting to feel stressed out! How do I know this? Because it's 2:30 AM on a Sunday night and I gotta be at work at 9! eeek!
So excited! but getting a tiny bit stressed too! Got loads to do yet - make the ceremony programs, menus, name cards, place names, thank you cards and work out which Ushers are doing what?!? Good luck ladies!! Final dress fitting next Saturday hurray
I'M FEELING GOOD! Just repeat that over and over...we're getting MARRIED!!!! I still have to buy candy for our candy bar and make ceremony programs...that's it:) I just sent our DJ all of our song choices and I'm getting my final fitting done tonight! So very excited! Congrats everyone!!
Best Man called last night and said he didn't realize he needed to be in town on Friday night for a Rehearsal Dinner because he only took Saturday off. He also said he didn't have a room booked (when Fiance asked him). We live in a very summer tourist area, he waited so long that our room blocks are gone, and the cheapest he might be able to find would be $120/night.
I had told Fiance at the start that anything involving the groomsmen would be his issue to deal with, so I am not stressing about it. :) I hope he at least remembered that Fiance asked him to write a speech...

I am mostly ready and very excited...or anxious...or something like that.
