LOTS of small items to take care of and I'm getting really nervous (not about the marriage) but about the wedding itself. So happy that FI has summer vacation from work beginning end of June--so for the month of July he is the wedding go to guy.
I know!!!! I'm at that nervous/excited/anxious/stressed place where we've got all the biggies booked, but we can't really do anything more until after our RSVP date! AHHHH THE WAITING IS KILLING ME!!!!
Mostly little things left, but I'm a natural-born fretter, so I'm freaking out anyway. :-)
Our wedding is August 7th and the pig roast is the 8th. I did the bulk of my invites yesterday as well. unfortunately by myself, I have gotten almost no help what-so-ever. And yes, I am getting more nervous with each passing day!
Our RSVP date is July 1st and our RSVPs have been a slow trickle. I also found out that a few people were planning on bringing "wedding crashers" (people who are not significant others or dates--just a random friend I don't even know). Honestly, I'm having regrets about our guest list right now.
I'm taking my invitations to the post office after work tonight! My shower was this past weekend, and it was overwhelmingly fun. I can't imagine how I'm going to feel on my wedding day if I was so blown away by my shower!! Can't wait!
Me too ehh5000! We had a couples shower this weekend, and we had SO much fun! I was thinking the same thing, that if a shower with my friends was that much fun, I can only imagine how wonderful the actual wedding will be with ALL our families and friends there.
wow, i feel special. We sent out our invites about a month ago. We invited 250 people. So far 74 people have RSVPed and only 4 can not come. The RSVP date is July 4th, and it is only by phone or email.
As of today we are 50 days away. Wow...it's so soon!

We booked our honeymoon this weekend. So now I'm even MORE excited! Still need to figure out flowers, cake and rehearsal dinner caterer, along with the candy buffet and out of town gift bags, programs, etc. Hope you're all doing well!

Hey 8-8-09-ers,
Can you believe that we are only TWO months away from our weddings?! I am getting so excited.
We spent all evening yesterday putting invitations together and got them all done. They are going out in today's mail. Yay! We met our goal.
I am still working on: florist, cake, rehearsal dinner caterer, bridesmaid's and my shoes and transportation issues. Along with that, a whole bunch of smaller items: programs, ceremony music and reading selections, and our candy buffet!
