I'm getting married August 25th... I have pretty much everything booked/deposits paid except for linens and the bridesmaids dresses, and have just started some of my DIY projects. So exciting!
I would get your vendors booked soon because I think they really fill up after the holidays. It is a good time to be planning though because, at least in my area, there are bridal shows like every weekend!

Yayyy for August 2012 brides!!!! Your not that far behind! Dont worry, I would highly suggest using knot.com checklist for reference... I use that as my guide for what i need to get done on a monthly basis.. It really helps!!! So far i have.....

Hello fellow Brides!
My name is Nina, I got engaged this past Thanksgiving and I will be married August 11, 2012! Looking forward to it. Counting down!! Any other August Brides out there? Where are you at in your planning? All I have is the venue and ceremony spot, I feel so behind. However, I will be ordering my dress this week! :)
