spiffanee:  We’re August 22, 2015 in Minnesota. We have our church, venue, food, photographer, DJ, florist, cake, stylists, registry and hotel blocking. My dress just came in, we have tuxes picked out and bridesmaid dresses ordered. This winter I’m working on all of the centerpieces and other decor. Our save the dates are currently in the making and we’re sending those out early January. I’ve started our wedding website… but I keep forgetting about it

We are August 15, 2015 in Ontario, Canada and so far we have the venue, officiant, DJ, photographer, caterer, designed our stationery, ordered our cake, and ordered my dress. 🙂 In December we are planning on booking a florist, finalizing the ceremony/reception program, and picking out the ceremony/first dance/father daughter dance songs.

We are getting married on August 29, 2015 in Alberta, Canada 🙂 So far we have booked our venue, photographer, caterer, florist, created a website, ordered save the dates (now to send them out…), and I just got my dress in the mail this week! We are pretty much set for decorations as well and my spare bedroom is quickly becoming the catch all area… starting to feel like a hoarder of glassware and linen haha! I feel like we are well on the way but know there is still lots to do!! Happy planning to you all 🙂

spiffanee:  We are 8/15/15 in Wisconsin. We have: my dress & accessories but for the necklace, bands purchased, venue paid for, caterer tasting and florist meeting set up, all bridal party notified and accepted, BM dresses purchased, photog booked (with e-photos done), officiant picked and met with, invites/RSVPs designed….oh, and a friend is going to be our MC and also in charge of our iPod music set up. Caterer and florist will be selected by the end of January. Suits will be done when FI picks something (that man is the pickiest man I’ve ever met for formalwear, it’ll take him 2 months to decide on what shade of charcoal grey…lordy). We’ll contact the person soon that we are going to ask to do our ‘cake’ – cupcakes!

Still have to get GM and RB outfits, veil, jewellery, finish decor, mail invites, book travel/accomodation to wedding, get and create flowers, book honey moon, get wedding bands, and finish bridal boot camp im putting myself through.

Our wedding is on 8.16.15 in Toronto, Ontario.  We have booked and paid for:

* both my wedding gowns (!!); ceremony & reception halls; bridal shower hall; DJ, photobooth, lighting; save the dates (going to send them out in the New Year)

After seeing everyone else’s progress, apparently I have quite a bit left to do for this huge wedding…(~350 +/- 50 people!)

August 1st bride here! So far we booked our venue, caterer, photographer, officiant, DJ, ceremony musician, and someone to do our hair. Save the dates are sent, hotel block is arranged and some OOT guests have booked already. My dress is purchased and has arrived but still needs altered. In the final stages of picking bridesmaids dresses. We picked out the groom’s tux and groomsmens suits but they haven’t been ordered yet. We decided on our honeymoon but need to book it.

Still need flowers and baker for our cake. Need to order invites, arrange for dance lessons (at my father’s request), and arrange transportation for guests to the venue from the hotel. I need to buy my shoes, veil, and jewelry. Need to work on my DIY stuff (decor). Need to arrange for our rehearsal dinner (which will be very small) and decide if we are doing breakfast the following morning.

Unfortunately, my parents are going on vacation for the majority of January, and as they are very involved with planning, things are sort of at a stand still. But that’s ok, I need a little break haha!

Well, back in Jan I was crazy emotional about backlash from family we never see at Xmas and their “needs”for the wedding so we cancelled all our vendors minus our photographer, cut the guest list by 2/3rds and replanned the whole thing!

Wine is ordered, flowers are ordered, cake is ordered, wedding party has their outfits, my dress should be in by June, deocr is 75% done (DIY projects yay!), invites are out as its a mini destination wedding for most guests, tables rented, linens purchased, music is 50% managed, tent rented, dance flood rented. I AM SOOO EXCITED>

I need to learn how to do my hair, choose my accessories and shoes, finish up the music, my last few DIY, and thats about it until the week of the wedding!!.

Can’t believe we are five months out! Since the last update we have chosen the music for the ceremony/formal dances, booked the honeymoon, bought the wedding favours (mason jar that we will fill with homemade jam), picked up the invitations, got the bridesmaid presents (Monogramed LL Bean Tote bags filled with a monogrammed hanger for their dresses, a bottle of wine, nail polish, perfume, and their favourite candy), ordered and picked up the bridesmaid dresses, put the deposit down on the tent, linens, glassware, etc., booked hair and makeup artists, booked transportation from the reception to the airport hotel (flying out at 9am the next morning), order the groom and groomsmen suits, finalized the bridal registry, made a wedding website, and bought the rings! Wow, you never realize how much work these things are until it’s your own wedding! 🙂

Next up on the to-do list is to book a hair and makeup trial, finalize our order with the florist, and send out the invitations. 🙂 Hope to have that done by the end of April.

It’s coming so fast… August 7th!!

So far I’ve taken care of the venue/catering, dj, officiant, photographer, sent out save the dates, gotten my dress/shoes, booked hair/makeup, halfway done with centerpeices, and picked the music I’ll be walking down the aisle to.

Now I’m working on invites, blinging the shoes I bought, finding a videographer, making bridesmaid dresses (I sew for a living… but not my dress!) altering and adding more beading to my dress, making and beading my veil, making the party favors, getting all the candy for our candy display, flowers, some decor, picking out music… I think there are a few things I left off that I can’t think of right now. So yeah, there’s a lot to be done. I’ve been having wedding stress nightmares and insomnia LOL. Thankfully my mom is helping me out haha.
