Hello ladies I hope you are all doing well! I can’t believe that we are getting married THIS MONTH. I’d love to hear how things are going and what your dates are 🙂 Our wedding is the last Saturday in August on the 30th. We have officially gotten all of our RSVP’s back, and out of 88 it looks like we have a total of 75! Our venue had a 70 person minimum and they give a discount if you have over this number, so I am stoked with the amount of responses we have got.

AugustBlossom: date twin!! Out of 86 invites, we got back 58 yeses (yesses?)… But since our venue max was 60, this is actually a good thing for us!
I’m excited and stressed. Luckily most everything is falling into place and my Fiance realized recently that we’re down to the wire now, and he is working hard.

Date twins with both of y’all!
Not all RSVPs are in yet… we invited about 180 and have 99 yes’s so far. We have a lot of tracking down to do!

We just started calling the no-responses. We invited 160 and I think right now we have 140 and we’re chasing down a remaining 8 who couldn’t figure out how to drop a pre-stamped card into a mailbox.
My date is the 23rd, so I’m the week before y’all. Everyone getting married on the 30th, that’s my birthday!

ohnatto: Yay it is so cool to have a date twin 🙂 your RSVPs worked out perfectly, your room will look nice and full

adoreprep: Wow another date twin (triplets perhaps lol 😉 ) I hope you get those responses soon, I sometimes regret not having a bigger wedding because we couldn’t invite everyone we would have liked to but thankfully we had all of our RSVPs back by the date so it was great to have one less stress
CaroBee: For a bigger guest list you did really awesome with your RSVPs, people must really be excited to go to your wedding. Happy birthday for the 30th, I love that you are getting married a week before your birthday. 2 celebrations within a week would be so fun. Both mine and FI’s birthdays are in May and we originally looked into May dates but with Mothers day as well we thought our month would be a bit busy 😛

OMG guys. We have two cards left to chase down.
ONE: Not answering phone or email. I’m giving them until friday when we just have to say “we’ll have to assume you aren’t coming”
TWO: FB messaged them (that’s the only contact I have, it’s FI’s dad’s cousin) – they read it, HE sent a smiley face and then SHE said “LOL he did not mean to send that smiley LOL”
Very helpful you guys, that really answered the question of “are you coming, and if so are you riding the shuttle”!
I’m unsure of how to proceed there, do I give them a day or two to mull over their response after smiley-gate? Or do I press the question again?
I found the response a little off-putting, these are adults. They’re both a good 15 years older than Fiance and I. Man up and tell us what you’re doing! If you can’t come, that’s cool! Just say!

YUP! WEDDING DATE TWIN! I am soooo happy too that all of our RSVPs are done and over with. I no longer have to worry about the guest list. I finally finished my seating arrangements too so I am sooooooo ecstatic that I can concentrate on other things.

AugustBlossom: Soooo our rsvp due date was July 10. And our wedding is in 9 days. And we have all but one rsvp (this is after making phone calls lol). I have a feeling that 1 remaining is not going to call back and therefore by default decline. Woohoo.
Annnnnnd we keep randomly getting people who change their minds either way. So it’s been up and down. The deadline for catering is in 3 days so that will come to a halt at that point. Had a lot of friends say they were coming and then change their minds later… that was actually pretty upsetting for me and I am trying to get over it.
We have about 130 out of 250 invites attending, a lot less than expected, so we will miss those folks, but there’s a silver lining in the savings.
Trying to just be happy about who’s there, remember that whoever needs to be there will be there. I do love everyone who’s coming 🙂

August 30th here too!! We invited 155. So far we have 121 coming but are still trying to track down 8 RSVPs.

Date twins!! Getting married on August 30th and by far the RSVP process has been the most stressful. We are getting married where I live, but fiances family is 6 hours away, mine 4. We invited 255 and 125 are coming and 20 still need to get back. I’m irritated because no one seems to get that I wanted their RSVP weeks ago! But we don’t gave to pay until this Friday so I’m gIrving everyone till Wednesday and that’s it. I have most of the seating done which won’t change. What a mess!

I have 4 outstanding for my August 30th wedding 🙂 🙂 🙂

Got one outstanding for my wedding this Sunday! I have a feeling this person is not coming as I have made multiple phone calls and emails and heard nothing.
Had a few people change their minds about coming or not coming but I have decided I am done with the seating chart at this point, so there will be some slightly awkward tables but I don’t think anyone will really care.

We received most of our RSVP’s by the 1st and had to track down a good 1/3 of the rest. As of now we know everyone who’s coming with the exception of one family friend’s husband. My great aunt and cousin are also a maybe, as one cannot come without the other, and my great aunt had a stroke about 6 months ago. I’m really hoping they can make it.
Good luck everyone…so close!!!
